Are you new to class? Who is your teacher? She’s a lecturer by day and dance teacher by love. Class isn’t too serious but we do crack on. Been dancing since I was 3 but rubbish at classical stuff or having to jazz-smile! Did a brief stint as a Bollywood backing dancer and street dance performer in clubs. But it’s all fun in class. In 2 weeks, we dance! Yayyyyyy, (I need to move without a child attached to me!) Don’t forget to sign up in Events! Well I think some huge errors were made on Greatest Dancer tonight! Why was the tap guy and Irish dancer not picked? The latter had all the sass needed. And what about the ballroom couple with the wheelchair - that was inspiring and beautiful?!

The Greatest Dancer is back!!!! With Todrick, RuPaul’s musical director, Matthew off Glee with a dubious new tasche, Cheryl, who can dance better than she sings, Oti off Strictly, Curtis off Love Island but who is also AJ’s bro off Strictly and can swing his hips (also on the Weight Watcher ad?!), Ashley out of Diversity, who should be judging and not hosting, and Alesha, who is full on preggers, so it must have been filmed a while back?! Who else is watching and what do we think?! I’m gonna be nicking some inspo choreography if I can stop crying at every dance first! 😂🤦🏽‍♀️x

Last week I dropped off winter warmers with Style Acre bought with the proceeds of our last class 🙏🏼 Style Acre has 6 permanent residents in Henley requiring 24hr care. X

So I think we should do the Living Advent Calendar next year, or dance for a care home to spread some cheer?! We learned a Christmas routine in one session & raised £ for charity in the process, why not share it?!

🎄Christmas Fitness with Nicky! Last class of term and the Wednesday Mariah’s nailed it, with proceeds going towards winter-warmers for Style Acre. We’re back in 2020 with usual StreetDance - see the timetable in Events x
