The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) addressed the companions on the last day of Sha’ban. Informing them about the blessed month on Ramadan and it’s virtues. “It is the month of patience (Sabr), and the reward for patience is Paradise. It is the month of sympathy with one’s fellow men. It is the month wherein a believer’s provision (Rizq) is increased.”
At Suffa Tul Islam we have been working extremely hard with our students to instil within them the value and lessons ...of Ramadan.
Welcoming the blessed month of Ramadan we had fun activities and held work shops for youngsters to learn about different aspects of Ramadan. Children also learnt how to be a part of Ramadan and experience it’s countless blessings even if they were too young to fast or take part in Taraweh Salah.
Alhamdulillah students were give the opportunity to raise funds throughout the month for an important and much needed local cause - Luton and Dunstable Hospital helipad appeal. We used this opportunity to encourage children to go out their way and help the community and not just ask for donations. Suffa Tul Islam gifted the students for their efforts and hard work.
We also enjoyed a beautiful Eid party with our students to end the blessed month.
We pray Allah accepts our efforts and makes us sincere in the little we do.

Alhamdulillah another successful Ramadan for the blessed students of Suffa Tul Islam who took on the Ramadan Surah al-Mulk challenge.
Every year students are selected to take part in memorising Surah al-Mulk 30 Āyahs in 30 days. Alhamdulillah students have shown great passion and enthusiasm in memorising the word of Allah.
The 27th night of Ramadan, the night we completed the Quran in Taraweh and possibly the night of power (Layla Tul Qadr). We at Suffa Tul Islam dedicated this night to the tilawah of Surah al-Mulk and gave our students the opportunity to read it before those who attended on this blessed night.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Community Iftar yesterday as part of the #DiscoverRamadan initiative to develop, build and sustain cross community understanding and relationships. It was wonderful to see so many people from such diverse backgrounds come together with a willingness to engage and learn from one another.
We also launched our drive to support the Luton & Dunstable hospital Helipad Appeal. This year, Luton Mosques will be working together through Ra...madan to raise money for this vital, life-saving service. We are extremely grateful to those who supported and donated last night! You can read more about the campaign here:

Heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all our volunteers and especially Shagufta & Shazia Anwar, Sandra Hayes, Mohammad Tariq, Amar Azam, Qaiser Malik, Mr & Mrs Younis, Melissa Llewellyn and Fiaz Syed and family for all your hard work on the day.
Finally, the event would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors: Ideal Lettings, Liberty Law Solicitors, and Hilton Cars.
