Society Organiser's Day at Surbiton GC yesterday: over 40 guests of the Club representing some of the 60+ Golf Societies who have enjoyed our hospitality on and off the course over the last year. Most of them have already booked a return visit for 2019 - so if you're after a venue for your Golf Society, look no further and contact us soon! The worthy winners of the day were Tony Leslie and Craig Brooks from the London Fire Brigade GS, here with Club Captain David Weatherhead.

Fabulous evening at Surbiton GC last week - the attendees at the annual Mens' Dinner as always dazzled with their wit and sartorial elegance. Food was eaten, (much) wine was drunk, trophies were presented. See the photo album for the prizewinners...

Our Head Professional - Paul Milton - has been at the helm for 40 years - and we celebrated in style this week at Surbiton GC with over 90 playing golf and then sitting down to a fabulous lunch - at which the wine flowed and anecdotes were shared! Thank you Paul - for 40 fabulous years...

A celebration of competition winning over the weekend at Surbiton GC. The Winter 4's finalists Tom & David Weatherhead, & Tom Sammes & Greg Wakefield played a great game - with Tom (Sammes) & Greg taking the title to the wire (the 36th hole!). Congratulations, too, to the Winter Plate winners - Paul O'Callaghan & Jay Griffiths. All pictured here with Club Captain (& Winter 4 finalist!) David Weatherhead...cheers, boys!

On Sunday after his "Drive In" the new Surbiton GC Club Captain - David Weatherhead - presented his first trophy. All our congratulations to joint winners of the Millennium League, Andy Rowe and Tim Whittaker both recording excellent 38pt final rounds on top of sustained excellence throughout the winter months. The Millennium League is one of our popular ‘roll ups’ playing most Sunday mornings through the winter months. The course is in such good shape that no scheduled weeks were missed - & nearly 50 golfers registered league points!

We love our members at Surbiton GC! And if an existing member introduces a new one to the Club before 31st March, they'll both receive a great golfing gift. Just our way of saying thank you...

I have played many courses over the 20 plus years that I have been playing and I must admit that this is the best one by far, not only was the course excellent but the hospitality was second to none, was welcomed from the moment we got there and Mick and Andy were perfect hosts, best of luck in the Semi finals.
