DÉCOR-ARCHITECTURAL, 1st – 3rd June 2018, Antiques at Fawley Hill
Re-claim: Reuse: Restore: Refurbish: Renovate Building on the tradition established by SALVO Fairs at Fawley Hill, this year’s Fair will be organised by Lady McAlpine, Gary Wallis and Alix & Camilla Charpentier.
... Thornton Kay is taking a year off and while this fair will not use the name SALVO, Thornton’s SALVO-web will of course support our endeavours and visitors will find the same great range of dealers.
SALVO was, of course, the original Architectural Salvage Fair: Thornton was the original “eco-warrior” without whose influence so much amazing building material and architectural detail would have been lost. We all owe him recognition and gratitude. If you need anything architectural before June: check out SALVOweb.
This year: In addition to the mainstay of Architectural Salvage dealers we are inviting dealers in Decorative Antiques and Textiles. So far the response has been terrific and we already have a great list of dealers so we are assured a good show! We aim to increase the size of the fair and will post developments on the website.
While this is of course a rare chance to find a large gathering of Architectural Salvage dealers supported by some of the finest Decorative Antiques dealers in the country: we aim to offer a really enjoyable weekend for all the family bearing in mind that not all family members want to spend all their time checking out the great bargains to be had on the stalls but we would hate you to leave early because the children are bored!
When you or your family need a break from buying: Rebellion Brewery and a selection of catering outlets will offer refreshment for all tastes; Restorers, up-cyclers and even a foundry will, we hope, inspire you. Well-known faces from Antiques Road show will be on hand to offer advice: some may be selling too! There will be a variety of old Military vehicles, vintage cars and Traction Engines to admire and of course entertainment for the children.
The Fawley Steam Train will be running on Saturday and Sunday and the Railway and bygones Museum will be open.

User

What a fabulous park! Lovely pitches, so spacious and peaceful. Only 10 minutes walk to Henley town. We visited the bar a few times but didn't swim or eat in the cafe. Staff very friendly and a nice little shop too. We'll definitely return

We've just returned from a week in your Holiday Caravans. Our caravan was fabulous. Modern, cosy and spotless. Obviously very well kept and well cleaned.

The location of your park is perfect for Legoland Windsor and also getting the train into London for some site-seeing. It's only a short walk into Henley itself which was perfect with our two young children.

Really friendly helpful staff in the Reception/ shop area.

We'd definitely recommend, and we hope to try out the camping pitches in future!

It was full but still felt that everyone had space.
