Thames Rivercruise

Today is your last chance to join us for a boat trip for a little while. During Reading Festival we will be providing river transport for tens of thousands of people, helping to reduce congestion on the roads. We will be back with our full timetable on Thursday 30th August.

If you in the centre of Reading today, take a break and relax on one of our 45 minute boat trips. Stops at Bel and The Dragon, Duke Street Bridge and the Abbey Quay. First trip at midday then hourly until 3pm.

Went on the 80 minute cruise to Mapledurham and back. Boat was excellent, staff friendly. Good selections of drinks, only down side was the size of the coffee, very small and very strong.

Went on a sundowner cruise last night as part of my birthday celebrations and we all had a really lovely time. The boat layout was lovely, perfect for relaxed mingling, and pretending to be the captain briefly was also entertaining :-) Thanks again

Took my grandson for the first time on the Caversham Princess, was a lovely trip up to Mapledurham and back. The crew were friendly and very polite.. he liked being able to explore as he has a keen interest in ships and boats lol. � Thank you �

There were only 2 small groups on our cruise including us but the guys were very professional and didn't make us feel awkward at all. Journey was very smooth from Caversham and would highly recommend. �

Thanks to Skipper Matt and the crew of the Caversham Princess. We took part in Sunday's 3 hour Jazz Cruise up the river for my Dad's 80th Birthday. The afternoon was fantastic, a fabulous Jazz Band and very talented singer, bar and really friendly staff. The boat is in really good order and the River past MapleDurham Lock spectacular. You have given us an amazing family memory, we are still on a high! Highly recommended. Thank you.

There were a few details that they seemed to be unaware of such as live musicians and birthday cake, the staff sorted these out quickly and the evening went without a hitch! The food was also excellent and a great night was had by all. Thank you!

Such a lovely day spent on the river, very comfortable boats and much nicer than the ones you get in Oxford. The staff are very friendly and were happy to show us all the interesting points along our trip. Will definitely go again with all the family. Thanks Tim! (I think that was the driver's name).

Myself and my family had a lovely afternoon tea this mother's day on the Caversham Princess. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had delicious cakes and tea served on beautiful china and bought a bottle of prosecco from the bar. Yum! A great day had by all and we even spotted a kingfisher.

My partner and I took our 2 year old on the 30 min cruise. Was absolutely wonderful. There was one us and one other couple on the boat but the staff were atill wonderful and Interacted with my little boy. Definitely recommend going for a sail!

Lovely relaxing boat cruise, you see some gorgeous houses and sites along the way, would defiantly recommend this to all ages. If I hadn't of been pregnant I would of had a glass of wine whilst soaking up the sun and the views!! � xxx

I took the fireworks cruise.. Crew was amazing, the experience was out of this world.. Can't wait to book another cruise with you. Amazing

I took my two young daughters on a River Cruise yesterday and it was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They even let the girls drive the boat wearing the captains hat. They loved it. I would totally recommend it. The boat was very clean and well cared for. I even had a glass of prosecco, something for everyone.

Had such a great experience going up and down the Thames, the captain and crew were informative and attentive! Would defiantly recommend for a lovely trip on the Thames!

Had such a fun evening on the Thames Rivercruise. Great funk and soul music to watch the sun set with xx

Cruise and crew were excellent but savouries and cakes were rather disappointing, some almost inedible! Shame after such a good cruise.
