There's lots to get involved with this Easter at TBC!
We start this Sunday afternoon with an Easter Egg Hunt at 3pm for little ones.
On Monday 8th there's a children's choir practice at 4pm in preparation for our Easter Celebration Service on 21 April. The main practices for this are at 4pm on the 16th, 17th and 18th. As ever the children's choir is open to any child who'd like to join in and have lots of fun singing.
... Throughout the school holiday there's an Easter Trail. Collect the clues from the windows of local shops in Thatcham and work out the answers to the questions. Then bring your answer to our stall at he Broadway on Good Friday morning 19 April to receive your prize!
For a reflective start to Easter, join us at Newbury Baptist Church in Cheap Street at 7.30pm on Thursday 18th, or at our own Good Friday communion service at 9.30am on the 19th.
The climax of it all is on Easter Sunday at 10.30am and 6.30pm when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the hope it brings for us all.

We're now taking bookings for our Easter Children's Choir! A great activity for children to come to during the Easter holidays with a celebration service at the end. For those who are away the whole week but back on Easter Sunday we're putting on a special additional practice on Monday 8 April at 4pm. Contact us for details and book your child in now :)

A very Happy New Year to you! It was great to see so many friends from the local community at our Christmas events, so thank you for joining us.
As 2019 starts we're really excited about the Bible Course we're about to begin, and we'd love you to join us for it. Whether the Bible is a closed book to you or you've been reading it for years, you'll definitely benefit. See below for more info.

We're excited about our Carol Services this weekend! At 10.30am we have our Family Carol Service with a 30-strong children's choir. At 6.30pm it's Carols by Candlelight with all the traditional elements. Join us for one or both. And if that's not enough, there's also the Christmas Day Celebration, a short but lively service at 10.00am. Look forward to seeing you :)

At TBC we're getting excited about the Bible Course which starts here in January. Watch the video to see what it's all about. The main sessions are on Sunday mornings starting on 13 January, but if that's not a good time for you, please let us know as we're planning to put on daytime and evening sessions during the week too. Christmas is coming...

This Sunday at 10.30am is our Harvest Thanksgiving and you're warmly invited to join us! The children's choir have practised hard and are nearly ready to bring us their harvest songs.
At this service we bring gifts for West Berks Foodbank. They urgently need washing powder, longlife fruit juice, biscuits, toilet rolls, sponge puddings, tinned fruit and custard. They are low on stock of razors and instant mashed potato. They are well stocked on everything else.
So whether you're a regular, an occasional visitor, or a newcomer, you can be sure of a welcome this Sunday :)

It's Children's Choir time again! We're looking for children from all over the Thatcham area to come and form a choir for our Harvest Thanksgiving service on Sunday 7 October at 10.30am. You don't need any previous experience, just a bit of enthusiasm! The practices are on Fridays 21 & 28 Sep and 5 Oct, from 4 till 5 pm. Parents and carers are welcome to stay for the practice and we'll even give you a cuppa :) PS let us know if you're coming!
