*Business as usual again today* apologies for yesterday, a few draught products were not available due to technical problems in our cellar caused by the heat wave we are currently having. An engineer has attended our pub today and repaired a Co2 leak we had on our beer system. Our cellar cooling system is now being repaired, whilst emergency equipment has been put in place to guarantee 100% beer quality. All products are now available again. Apologies once again for any inconvenience caused.

What a lovely place..so nice to find a 'proper pub' . We were staying over the road when my daughter and decided to pop across for a drink. We'll definitely go again after hopefully have a meal.

Sourdough bun burgers were excellent and the bangers and mash superb. Staff courteous and friendly, all and all an excellent way to spend an evening.
Outstanding Fish and Chips 👍🏻 Have heard nothing but good things and it does not disappoint. Large selection of Ales too. Beer battered onion rings were amazing. Will defo return
My motorbike broke down in front of the Admiral today. The staff and regulars came out, moved my bike to a safe spot, rung around and called another local bike chap (Thank you Johnathan) who drove in, charged up my bike & followed me home to make sure my machine made it back. I am so grateful that everyone there was so willing to help a stranger in distress. What an awesome response. I will be back to have a beer and toast the staff and customers.
My family trade was Fish n Chips,Between my Dad and three brothers we must have traded for over 50 years so on hearing that The Admiral was cooking fish and chips in beef dripping we had to try it.
Well done, they were excellent. Fish and chips are only on Friday nights and you have to book so please leave your booking until its to late then I will be able to get a table

I moved to the village with my business and have been in the admiral from the beginning such a amazing atmosphere and I love the people Adam behind the bar is the life and soul of the pub amazing sense of humour and amazing customer service a credit to the pub love it xx

Cracking little pub. Watching England v Wales 6Nations yesterday, good food (burger was awesome and I'm not generally a huge fan of burgers ) good beer and good atmosphere.
The TV isn't on all the time, just for special evenrs, so don't worry.
