Went with a friend and we initially only going to stay for a few hours but ended staying 7 hrs. The atmosphere around was incredibly relaxed. The bar staff were very helpful and looked after us. We. Thank you so much. We will be definitely coming back. One more thing I did notice. No louts ďż˝

User

Service at the bar was slow, inaccurate and rude.Example coffee made at other counter.Once made lad walked back to me empty handed and he pointed where I could get it from.I believe clueless rather than rude but may be wrong on Tuesday he was training a new women.On. Monday she was left on her own to just pick it up.

Ordered a bratwurst burger from menu but got a normal sausage in an insipid finger roll.Eating here is generally disaappointing.

Kiddie cartons of juice are ÂŁ2 each which kind of sums up how family friendly they are..

Come on easy to fix surprise me.

User

Just had the best Sunday roast lamb I've had in 9 years of living in London.

Great friendly staff and a fantastic range of beverages.I have been moored up at Teddington Lock for a couple of weeks and have popped in regularly and never been disappointed.Time for pud.

User

Great location, fantastic space both indoors and out, but service slow and amateurish.

User

Found this lovely place whilst we stayed at the travel lodge up the road. Well what a little gem. Lovely setting on the river and well the food was out of this world. We had the burgers, so awesome best we ever tasted. Can't wait to come again although we live in West Sussex but it's definitely worth the trip, nice little place where dogs n kids r welcomed with lovely playground

User

Been going over ten years. One of the best pubs in town. Great garden area.

User

Spacious seating area outside overlooking river lovely play area for kids friendly staff food nice ďż˝

User

On arrival was greeted by bar staff who seemed not very clued up and a little sarcastic and abrupt. Once in the garden the staff were much better in the outside bar. Management team were very polite and friendly. The music festival was great with the fantastic Jim Sole who never disappoints. Then a little later the doors were closed on the tent for an early evening of comedy. We ended up eating there and had 4 delicious bacon burgers which were reasonably priced. A very enjoyable afternoon!

User

Nice food , good beer and friendly, helpful staff

User

Good service, kid and (wet) dog friendly. Fun pub quiz, ie sufficiently challenging but you don't need to be a boffin, well compared and organised. Food good. Garden area is a tad tired, but fab riverside location.

User

Very, very expensive Sunday lunch and drinks (ÂŁ3.05 for small bottle of apple juice); staff not entirely helpful; inconsiderate people in big cars blocking small car park. On the plus side, excellent location, good portion size, and clean facilities.

User

We have eaten here twice over the summer period this year and unfortunately neither experience on the food front was good. Terribly overpriced for the quality that is sent out and even the staff were embarrassed to be send out some of what we had ordered. The kids menu reads very well and for ÂŁ7.25 (for a main and small pudding) I was expecting a decent portion and quality. My son ordered the pizza which came with chips. What arrived was very, very poor quality pizza (Tesco value range springs to mind) and not even a whole pizza, just 3 small slices. As for the chips, they looked as if they had been prepared some time ago and there were very few of them. I sent this back, even my son turned his nose up. I requested sausage and mash in place. This was not much better. 2 sausages which were very average and totally over cooked, a small spoonful of mash and a tiny, tiny portion of peas (19 of them to be precise). Disgusting for the price and the taste wasn't much better.

I saw many people complaining about their food so this wasn't a one off. The manager did his best by offering a couple of free drinks which was a nice gesture but I suggest you look at the kitchen and change your chefs. There is the potential to make this place a great place to eat but I personally will not return for food, especially at those prices for the quality sent out.

User

Very poor service - bar staff were chatting about their social life rather than serving - got drinks order wrong. Food was very poor - fish finger sandwich was fried fish fingers -very greasy and the accompanying "salad" a lump of lettuce served with an incredibly strong and unsavory mustard dressing. There are far nicer places to go for lunch in Teddington.

User

Terrible service, garden was really untidy and worn out. Food was nothing special, in fact really poor, worse meal I've had. Main food came before starters and was told about two kitchens in the restaurant, still not good, waiter was quite rude. Certainly won't be going back again!

User

Terrible food. Steak was ÂŁ25 and the worst I have ever had. Both quality and portion was very poor.

User

Spent the afternoon here yesterday but wasn’t impressed at all. Very expensive and food wasn’t great at all. My food had a hair in the burger, noticed as I cut it in half. Took it back and they made another but as it put me off I didn’t really want another. Anyway it turned up and because I was hungry I ate it. Wouldn’t go back again!!

User

Ordered ham hock well 4 bits ham 2x potatoes bit salad for 12 pounds nice place wouldnt recommend eating to any one sorry

User

I booked a table for 16 people for Father's Day including 8 adults and 8 children. It was so frustrating because I emailed them and went in to book the table but they managed to lose reservation and were not being proactive in rectifying their error. Some of the staff were really unfriendly and actually being rude. One was sucking an ice lollies while serving. Our food turnerd up 2 hours late after having lost our order. There was no real apology. I would not consider going back and would certainly not recommend. I think it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had.
