What a little gem of a place, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Very accommodating if you want a slightly different variation to the sandwich on the menu

We went in for coffee and loved the atmosphere; worn leather sofas and lounge chairs and friendly staff. We stayed for lunch because we were so comfortable and they were able to cater for a vegan and a vegetarian with no trouble whatsoever. Lovely, hearty, healthy soup with a slab of granary bread. Highly recommended.

Very quaint, lovely eccentric decor. Very in with the victorian theme of the town.Absolutely loved it and we were well looked after such friendly staff

The Apothecary sells sensibly priced and delicious cakes together with a good selection of teas and coffees. We found other cafes in the town were seriously over priced, with unappetising cakes and rather grumpy looking staff.

As a group of six we needed suitable seating, patient and friendly staff when none of us could make a decision!

We found all of this and more at Apothecary, so we visited twice during our weekend stay!

Such a welcoming place and delicicious too. The BEST hot chocolate ive ever had.
