The Barefaced Night

Bare Faced Night will be one of the largest productions this year and we are calling upon actors, dancers, musicians and just about everyone else to get involved

The Barefaced Night is an innovative new piece of dance theatre combining movement, live music, poetry and storytelling to retell a Scandinavian folk tale.

The Barefaced Night tells the story of a princess who finds love with a man cursed to be a bear by day and human only in darkness. When her desire to see him drives him away, she begins an epic journey to win him back. Both a thrilling fantasy romance and an allegory about the way we live our lives, the princess's journey is about learning to accept contentment – discovering what we really need to be happy, knowing when we have it, and finding out what we would give to get it back.
