With wonderful farm and countryside surrounding a perfect place to take the children for a nibble and drink and after a play in the park just meters away (with toilets and parking). Equally just as charming for adults with wonderful carefully selected teas, coffees, wines and beers. The cakes were fantastic and priced well for their exceptional first class flavours. The menu for light snacks and meals looked very tempting. We shall definitely be making the batch cafe a regular feature for our trips out. Parking available and cards excepted 😀

Went for my Birthday - had a fab lamb & apricot stew for lunch and the other half had the full english brekkie. Both were delicious! And shared a really good chocolate brownie too. Looking forward to next visit!

User

Visited The Batch Café today for breakfast with my son and his friend. We all had the bacon rolls which were delicious, lovely crispy flavoursome bacon!!! Really nice atmosphere and child friendly which is a bonus for us but a nice place for a bit of adult socialising as well with a little alcoholic tipple or 4!!! We will definitely be returning to sample the delicious looking lunch menu.

User

This place is great. Great cakes, great atmosphere, great staff, great coffee, great meals, great views. And there's a field where you can walk your dog and a playground where you can exercise your kids! If you've never been there it's worth a visit.

User

This place is a perfect hidden retreat with great food and friendly staff.

User

Perfect tea and cake, great service and beautiful surroundings.... we will be back!

User

Perfect place to pop to with a friend for a natter and a cake whilst little ones read a book or colour in, lovely home made soups, great pasta for the kids, sumptuous cakes for the mummies one of my favorite places in oxfordshire :-) these guys have nailed it with their menu I have eaten here four times (can not wait to go back) love it. x

Our afternoon visit to The Batch Cafe was fantastic! Most important thing first - absolutely delicious cakes and good hot drinks. Having lusted over the cake pics on facebook they did not disappoint. Can't wait to go back for other things on the menu. Cater really well for children both in terms of food and the welcome. High chairs, toys, books, colouring pencils etc. My 2.5 year old is quite full on and the owners were patient, kind and friendly with him. So rare to get both family friendly and aesthetically and tastebud adult pleasing (to coin a phrase) too. The setting is great too with the farm and playground making it a bit of a destination. Go.

Lucy recently catered our son's Christening and the food was AMAZING!! I received lots of wonderful comments on the food and begrudgingly admitted it wasn't made by my fair hands! I can't recommend Lucy enough, delicious food, full of flavour and made with great produce, as well as a fantastically polite and professional service.

The Batch Café is a favourite haunt of mine and I love any excuse to pop down for lunch or Saturday brunch with my husband and three unruly boys. We are always made to feel so welcome.

Thank you! We will be down to see you again soon and will definitely have our next event fully catered by The Batch!

User

Lovely to visit today, and enjoy some cake, tea and coffee. Like the look of the breakfast menu a lot, and the fact it's available most of the day, am looking forward to a return visit to try it. Friendly and great service, thanks a lot. The dogs loved their biscuits and glad to know there is somewhere under cover for us to sit with them.

User

Jut had the most amazing cake and coffee, welcoming atmosphere and a peaceful environment... highly recommend while thinking about when I can Next come over for another coffee

User

I'm a regular visitor and I genuinely think this place is incredible. Excellent service - Carl and Lucy always go above and beyond. The food is incredible and I've never been disappointed. You must look The Batch up...

User

I had my first visit today with two little children who were spoiled with hot chocolates and huge marshmallows. Books and colouring pencils available for them, yummy food and the most friendly and quick staff to clean all the mess we made great music which made one of the little ones dance on the highchair through the whole lunch time finishing with a well deserved sunshine at the playground. Lovely! Thank you!

User

Fresh and tasty food, and super friendly service. The sweet potato and harissa chicken hash was the perfect light lunch. The hot chocolate deliciously frothy and chocolatey. The millionaire shortbread had caramel to die for. And the Jeeves & Jericho teas were the discovery of the day! All served with big smiles and the choice of indoor or outdoor seeing in the middle of peaceful countryside. I'll be back!

User

First visit today and it was awesome! Coffee is brilliant! So good, I had to have a second. Skilled barista!! I tried the brownie which was divine and am only disappointed I was too early for lunch as the lunch options sound fantastic. The staff though, definitely had to be one of the highlights! So friendly and make everyone feel welcome and like nothing is too much work/effort. What a great little cafe! I'll definitely be back!

User
