Our kitchen works almost entirely from fresh ingredients, meaning our Menu changes daily depending on availability from our Butcher and Fishmonger. Today's new addition is Pan fried Scallops sat on Celeriac Puree, raw Celeriac & Kohl Rabi, lemon and Dill oil. Better hurry while it's still on the menu!

Wonderful Easter Day lunch for five. Many thanks to the wonderful staff!

Went in for lunch yesterday. Beautiful garden on a lovely sunny day. Can highly recommend the 3 egg omelette it was delicious! The staff are always friendly especially Katie. Also love the idea of dining in one of the cabanas.

Went here for lunch and found the pub to be beautifully decorated, the lady that served us was polite and attentive, the menu was varied, food was served piping hot and delicious. Highly recommend

We visited the Blue Ball for the 1st time yesterday, (6th Aug). Great child & dog friendly pub. Atmosphere & surroundings make it the perfect "Not so far from town pub". Food was great as was the service, "reasonably" priced. All in all a fantastic pub, run by a very pleasant & kind manager, we will definitely return.

We used to frequent the Blueball before its refurbishment and enjoyed our visits on those occassions. We now love the way interior has been changed and the way the new windows have opened the place up. The exterior has also enjoyed improvements with the childrens play area and what i would call, "the outside dining huts". On our vist on 26th Sept, our friends whom have never visited before realy enjoyed their food plus the homely look of the surroundings. We shall go back.

Superb Sunday roast!! We went as a group of 10 and everyone loved their food! One of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had in a pub! Loved the veggie side dishes. Lovely smiley waitress! Thank you.. We will definitely be back!

Met with friends there for a quick lunch before going on a walk . Went back later and had a meal the staff are excellent and so was the food my friends have been before and we will certainly go back again

Lovely meal here today, literally the best garlic bread I've ever tasted! Really nice and relaxing by the log fire. Will definitely be returning again for a meal soon.

Had a great evening last night, hired a pod outside, the waitresses couldn't of done more for us, even though we were probably really annoying with that call bell.... highly recommend for a get together. Will be back

First time we have been since the revamp, very pleased with the layout of the tables you didn't fill cramped at all the food was good and plentiful, also the staff was very attentive totally enjoyed our afternoon.

A great evening. Martin is the host with the most, customer services in his veins.... Quality throughout.....attentive staff, lovely food, great service, a real find..... It will do well with Martin at the helm! Book now as it will be busy! Rob Cook

Popped in for a cheeky lunch time drink. Staff were very attentive and helpful, but not overpowering. Decided to have a quick bite to eat, just some snacky food, which was served quickly and very nice. Would highly recommend a visit if you get the chance.

Went last Sunday for a birthday celebration . Booked last minute so lucky to find they could accommodate us in one of the outside huts. Staff very friendly and pub is lovely. Food left a bit to be desired in the day. Roast was not hot enough and all a bit bland. Ours was brought outside without hot covers, I noticed another groups dinners were all covered when they came out. Forgot one of our meals. Told a member of staff but we had almost finished our meals by the time this dinner arrived. Ordered coffees but they never arrived. Waitress was very accommodating with our birthday cake and bought it out with candles, and plates which I appreciated. Would like to go again, hopefully just a glitch with the food this time.

Nice Pub. The first time I have eaten there the food was really good however yesterday the beef was over cooked. The Yorkshire puddings were overcooked and and it a little burnt. The pub itself is amazing and the weather was great so was not to fussed. The vegetables were great. Was in one of those outside Gazebos. That was nice however considering I made a reservation two months ago I am sure that was enough time to give it a good old dust down. A few spiders and spiderwebs were around. All in all not a bad experience. Service was great!!!

Staff were great but food wasn't good. Hopefully just an off day but portion size was small on each dish plus not good quality either. Will give them the benefit of the doubt and try again another time.

A group of eight ate in one of the outdoor huts, was different and lots of fun. Seating was fine as long as you weren't sitting on one of the stools with no back rest. Service was fine but menu & food quality was just not up to the standard we had enjoyed on previous visits. Somewhat mediocre 'pub grub' at restaurant prices. Disappointed

Went today and will not be returning! Waited 20 minutes for a deserts menu, after waiting another 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order (which never happened) we had to call someone over to give us the bill! Waited another 15 minutes, whilst all the staff were standing chatting at the bar and tasting food that the chef had brought out for them before I called someone over again to take our money! Shocking service!
