What an amazing venue with amazing staff and atmosphere! We held our Wedding Reception here last night and couldn't have asked for a more magical and special day, all of our needs were met with extra special detail. I am most definitely going to recommend The Centurion to friends and family � �

Dawn the landlady is an absolute star, and I must say lots of the wedding guests told me how amazing the venue looked, and it was very intimate and cosy and like a real family get together, that's exactly what it felt like , Dawn and the team made us all feel so welcome.

We had my mum wake here today. We were greeted by the landlady who did the most amazing food for us in such a large quantity, also a very friendly greeting with a lovely card for us all. Can definitely recommend this venue.

Use to work at the pub before Mal and Dawn took over and it's safe to say they've made it a million times better. It's now a comfortable and wonderful environment to be in and it's always so fun to go up there!

The Centurion were kind enough to host my grandma's wake last year. They gave great service and catered for all of our needs to make it as special as possible. This great venue was large enough for all our guests. Dawn and Family really made the difference, allowing us to decorate the area and even used there own decor to accompany the tables. Everyone took advantage of the free tea and coffee supplied. Thank you so much for taking the stress away much appreciated by myself and the Howes family! Xx

The Centurion is a very friendly pub with a great atmosphere. The Landlord (Mal) and the Landlady (Dawn) are both lovely people, very friendly and run the pub in a very professional, yet relaxed manner. The "regulars" who use the pub are also a great bunch of people.



I run the Karaoke up there every Sunday evening so some might say I have a vested interest, but if you are looking for a good pint in a nice friendly local, think no more and get yourself down to The Centurion. Even better if you come along to my Karaoke on Sunday ... it starts at 8pm .... see you there.

My daughter had her 21st birthday party here, Dawn, the landlady was so kind and helpful i cant thank her enough. The venue is nice and cheerful and very friendly. Thank you x

Just been to my Nanna's wake here and it was lovely. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and at ease at this hard time. Will definitely recommend.

It’s my local. But it’s more than that. Mal and Dawn are great hosts. The children feel welcome. Even the dog loves it and he is not easily pleased. At its heart, it is a decent, friendly pub as pubs used to be and it has a meat raffle with prizes from the legendary Bransbury Park Butchers..... what’s not to like.

Have just come back from my mother in laws wake which we had at this venue. The friendliness and attention of the landlady made a difficult time so much easier. The food was amazing in both quality and quantity and I can't believe that she doesn't charge more. The little touches like flowers on all the tables were lovely. I would recommend this venue to anyone for any occasion.
