Went to chi yesterday for bits of shopping with a friend was such a lovely day we treated ourselves to a couple of cocktails 🍹 staff were lovely 😊 lady was friendly and cheerful def go back😃👍🏻

Went in today for lunch... served by a beautiful, friendly lady. Nice food, but the service made for a great experience for both my children, my parents and me.

We were looking for breakfast in Chichester and thought we would be too. Late but saw that Chantry was serving. We had a full breakfast and bacon and egg muffin and two drinks for a tenner, brill!



Food was freshly cooked, took a little while longer than expected as they weren't busy but it was worth it when it arrived. My only bugbear was that cappuccino and latte looked the same in same cups, no chocolate sprinkles and no saucers, but a small criticism as overall very nice.



Surroundings were nice comfortable and roomy.

The Chantry is now much better! Went in yesterday for lunch really enjoyed my experience! Food was lovely! Place looks amazing all done up and changed! Staff were great and friendly! Good service really enjoyed it! Shall definitely be coming back!

Randomly went out in search for scampi and chips with a friend tonight. I live in Surrey & my friend lives in Borden. We went on an adventure & ended up in Chichester and found this place. Fantastic bar!!! Fell in love with it. Will definatley be back!!!

Had a great night for new years eve. The bar staff were all lovely and one even reserved a table for our group despite the fact they weren't meant to be taking bookings. It was awesome and great fun.

Came in for a fish finger sandwich on the lunch deal. A lovely piece of battered fish in the bun and a good amount of chips, Medium glass of red wine for £7.50! Amazing lunch time deal! Staff were attentive and friendly. Would recommend and will definitely be returning

Amazing burger and they was 2 4 1! Well worth the visit! Will be back!

Out for dinner and Tyler (my son) being Tyler starts getting a bit bored... until the barman hands Tyler a chess board. When Tyler asks if he can play with him (because mummy doesn't know how to play)... instead of apologising and saying he's busy he sits down and teaches him how to play chess. The little things mean so much so whoever you are... thank you for making my boy a happy one... trust me when I say he will remember you! If anyone knows this man please send him my thanks! I think his name is Martin Stallard

Last night - came for cocktails during happy hour and whilst the service was slow, staff were genuinely nice and drinks were great value! Also popped in for lunch a couple of weeks ago and food was tasty and service friendly! I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

They've changed the food menu so not really worth going anymore Have no idea why they got rid of the vegetarian breakfast as that was always my main reason for going

Generally good but not enough bar staff and the most ridiculous rules ever!!

No drink outside in their own private garden after 11pm and no smoking after midnight!! And if this is to respect neighbours I will not be impressed. If you buy/rent a property in the middle of a town - what the hell do you expect?!!

The silly rules would stop me going to be honest which is a shame as on the whole, it was a great place

Friendly staff and over aggressive bouncers that seemed approachable. What I would say if music is too loud. It was hard to follow conversation with friends and even more so when went up to say hi to ladies.

Well where to start... Got to my booked table with a bottle of wine waiting as requested... Wasn't there so had to ask for that. Sat down, no children's menu or colouring pencils as they had ran out.

Went to order. Got told there was no mixed grill!!

Children's burgur... The burgur was no bigger than a 50p coin. The bun was stupidly huge!! Then the chef realised that he had not put the beans on their plates!!

The mac and cheese, was the size of a microwave meal with one slice of dry and burnt garlic bread, which was £9.00!! When complained got told that it was, & 7.00 during the week and yu could get a drink with it!! Yeah cheers.

Had to ask for the kids drinks, after their meal as we waited for them.

Went to pay for our bill which kindly they took 25% off, looked at the bill and they had charged us £1.00 for veg that they children never got ( there were three children in total) got charged £2.50 for drinks that should have been included in the meal, so we were told. Then £1.00 for the puddings, which we got 1/2 hour after dinner!! Only because we had to keep asking.

So the bill was £52 after the 25% had been taken off, then and extra £15 off aswel for charging for things that we should not have been charged for.

Lets just say if it wasn't for the wine we wouldn't have stayed!!

Always check the bill!!!

Very disappointing! Our pizza arrived with very little topping. We ordered garlic bread with cheese this came as 3 tiny pieces that were soft and soggy clearly been microwaved and very well done sweet potato fries.

We left still hungry and went to Driftwood across the street and the food was amazing.

The drinks we had were nice, sadly that's where it ends! Service was very slow and there could of only been 8 people in the place and only us 2 eating. The food if you can call it that turns up.... it was vile! Would not even give it to my dog!

So let down by the chantry on my friends hen do, 11 of us had booked for cocktail making and all prepaid. When we arrived they had no idea of the booking and couldn’t accommodate us! The management of this pub needs seriously looking at! If you want good cocktails I suggest you go to the Rocking Horse across the road!

If I could give a zero I would!! Seriously let down on Saturday for my friends hen do. We had all prepaid to have a cocktail making class & when we arrived there was no booking apparently!! - they were happy to take the money the week before!!! This place is so badly run it’s a joke! You lost 11 customers & more that day!
