Brilliant golf day at Oxford GC. Thanks joe pepperall for looking after us and making it so easy. A big thank you to mark Eadle and Zak, (Zem sports) for putting on the charity golf chipping comp. congratulations to Benji on winning it. ( how I don’t know 🤔.) 3 out of 3..🙈. A big well done to mark Sherlock on getting a Hole in one at the 12th.👏🏻👏🏻. Thank you AZIZ for the food afterwards, top food. Finally congratulations to Harry, Brodie,Richie and Benji for winning the the team event. See you next year.

Looking good at Oxford GC

The chequers charity golf day is this Sunday. We have Zemsports back at the pub after, with there big golf ball. Chip balls into the hole to win win. King Kenny had a go , so can you. £1 a go, all for charity.

Thank you to the people who left there little people in unattended. We now have 1 budgie left... 5 birds were let out and have flown the coop..

Chequers charity golf day has been confirmed for this year, so the date for the diary is, Sunday MAY 26th. ( bank holiday weekend) 1st tee @ 1:40 1st pay gets to play.⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Today, well I think it is..... will be the start of our 12th year at The chequers. Bought on February 29th, so here is the confusion!! We would like to share a few photos, how it’s changed! It’s seen a lot of highs, but more recently some lows.. we’ve been through some dear loses and we’ve seen new friends and some loyal friends. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed it all with us and may there be many more. Thank you for sharing our home and see you soon.
