Last year, in our area we raised just under £14,000 for 15 different charities. Do you know a special cause in need of our support?
A total of 13 stores in our area are looking for a new charity partner. It was another hot 24 hours but colleagues and customers still managed to raise £550 from a sponsored cycle in store. Well done and thank you for everyone's support.
They cycled 366 miles on a static bike in aid of Chestnut Tree House.

Southern Co-op challenged its colleagues to raise as much money as possible for their local charity partner in #CharityAwarenessWeek and Sussex colleagues smashed it by raising more than £7,900! 👏
The amount raised in Sussex was added together with all of the Southern Co-op’s retail stores and funeral homes in the south of England to make a fundraising total of £30,000!
The overall charity pot from all stores/funeral homes was boosted by £20,000 from Southern Co-op - with £10...,000 each going to the charity partner of the retail store and funeral home that raised the most money between 23rd-29th July!
The retail store that won was a Sussex store - The Co-operative Food Falmer Bramber House (Sussex University) in Brighton who were raising money for Albion in the Community!
Giving a grand total of £50,000 raised by Southern Co-op colleagues in one week for over 100 charity partners across the south coast! 😍
We couldn't be prouder of all our colleagues who took part and we can't wait to beat this amount next year 😏

Don't forget that we will be taking part in a 24 hour charity static cycle tomorrow and Saturday in aid of Chestnut Tree House. Our colleagues will be cycling 12 hours each day and there will be a visit from Syd the Squirrel.

Date for your diaries: 3rd and 4th August. Pop down to our store in Beatty Road where we will be getting on our bike for a 24 hour charity static cycle in aid of Chestnut Tree House. We will be cycling 12 hours each day thanks to some extra support from friends, family and Syd the Squirrel.
There will also be a competition for people to stick a pin in the map to guess how far we will cycle so pop along and help cheer us on for charity!
