Lovely market and cosy atmosphere. Great variety of shops offering everything you may need. The Colombian Coffee shop has gorgeous coffee and an interesting story of the owners quest for fairness and excellence.

Excellent range of INDEPENDENT shops with everything from traditional greengrocers and butchers to delicious ice cream (made on the premises) and sandwiches, to ladies, children's wear, jewellery, bags and toys. Really great selection. It's fantastic to be able to find things you can't find on the High Street of every other town in the UK.

Bought some great beef, superb lunch on Sunday! The wild boar sausages, too many recipes running through my mind for that little piece of heaven mid week. Love Oxford.

A wonderful covered market where you could nearly get the feeling of being a century earlier. Many shops of different items which take you in the proper English atmosphere.

And if you get there on Sunday morning you can catch and smell English cooked breakfast spread around.

We spent a good couple of hours taking in all that was on offer. It was a lovely experience. However, what had drawn us there initially was the hope that it would have a good toy stall. What was on offer was sadly lacking. All in all though, this is a lovely market, in wonderful Oxford.

User

Lovely market place which got almost everything...what is required is our protection as the lease and rent are very high and by time it may vanish.
