Went there on Saturday nite could not fault the food or the service I had the lamb and my wife had sea bass and our friends had the lamb and the fish and said it was excellent

Went for a family meal food was great loved the menu & staff friendly. Love what they have done with the place,All the best . Defiantly recommend it .

Went for a Mother's Day meal over the weekend, Rhys and the staff did a wonderful job, our food was delicious, portion sizes were perfect and we weren't kept waiting for ages between courses, the waiting staff were polite and efficient and I'm already looking forward to the next visit, top job all of you keep it up

Stayed for one night with my wife on Friday 8th june. Was greeted warmly by the beautiful Carly and the rest of the Dolfor staff. The room was very nice comfy and spacious and the food and service first class. Recommend the Dolfor very highly.

Had Sunday lunch on Sunday just gone and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient and the sticky toffee pudding was divine � we'll definitely be back.

Even though I arrived late on a Friday night I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from both Carly and Rhys your hosts. Shown up to my room (3) which was very clean tidy and warm, bed was very comfortable and I had a great couple of nights sleep. Waking up with a nice view over the fields in the morning. The full Welsh breakfast is very good and freshly cooked making use of local produce which makes it even more tasty, its also very filling, no basics here 😊

Fabulous range of various types of beverages. Bar food is also cooked to order and very tasty and again filling. From the looks of it the restaurant is very busy and would advise to pre-booking. Very much worth staying here when in the area, or just popping in if travelling through.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending the Dolfor Inn and will look forward to any opportunity to come here again. Please thank all the staff for their fantastic service and open friendliness it really make you stand out from the rest. Good luck and hope to see you again soon.

Just had a family Sunday lunch, lovely location looking out onto the hills, pub a restaurant spotless, staff pleasant and helpful without being in your face, food very nice, portions could have been a bit bigger but what we had filled and hit the spot, flies a bit of a problem but it must be time of year because it's the same at home and lastly, the bill was a bit of a shock, but lovely time had, oh and the caffreys bitter was spot on, thank you all.

I love the pub, good selection of drinks. The food is fantastic, i would like to see bigger portions for the price. I have returned a few times since my first meal and the food it always fantastic. The atmosphere is great and the views outside are stunning taking in the surrounding countryside. Could do with sorting out the odd annoying fly which seemed to go from person to person. I have recommended this place to others and have bought a few friends along for meals or drinks.

They try really hard but haven't yet got it right. Food is a bit pricey and sometimes the service is very slow due to staffing problems. Nice surroundings and new decking outside

Nice little pub for a quick pint or a bite of 'pub grub' on road from Newtown to Builth. Clearly sign posted from main road. Friendly and great Guinness!
