187 years and still going strong! Its nearly got as much history as us here at the Dolphin. Make sure you download the Young's On Tap App to claim your classic Bitter or drink on us. We're also using this fabulous occasion to have a little Country Kitchen showcase of Our Head Chef Ryan's seasonal British menu going into Autumn and Winter. This of course features Our local brewers, cuts form our friends at Dorking Butchers seasonal cheeses and vegetables. We make even me giving a little sneak peak into our Christmas plans

We had a beautiful meal with great service! Lovely pub - can highly recommend it!

User

Very nice and cozy pub. Great food made with local products. Unfortunately the venison burger was finished, but the sausage from the Dorking butcher were fantastic!

User

The sharing platters are uniquely wonderful, with each item having a specific local character. The sausage roll is unsurpassed in my experience. Really very special, with intelligent, friendly, and helpful staff. A real rarity, and one to try soon - because it seems too good to last forever...

User

The food and drinks were spot on

User

The chef knows what they are doing. Food is worth every penny. The ale is fresh. Wonderful rambling place. Love the C17th wood panelled room. Great fires. Could've stayed all day. Book an early lunch on the weekend (as we did). You won't be disappointed. And they will give your dog a treat.

User

Only popped in yesterday for a quick drink & light bite. Had the ploughman’s platter to share. Was lovely.

Had a great bbq grill menu which we will definitely come back for another weekend.

User

I’m my opinion about the best food in Brockham/Betchworth

User

Had a lovely meal and I must say the locals and bar staff are so friendly :) I also met someone I had not seen in 25 years :) A perfect afternoon :)

User

Great beer, staff and ambience. Very dog friendly. They do a mean meal too with a great restaurant all home cooked food.

User

Great Sunday roast as always guys, yum yum yum x

User

Fantastic Trio of roasts, great, friendly staff, beautiful location. I love it here!

User

Excellent pub great food will come here again !

User

Does exactly what it says on the tin: Beautiful surroundings, exceptional Sunday roast and a great team - perfect

User

Came here to celebrate a birthday and you d the staff very friendly and the food great. Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you.

User

Another amazing risotto! Sticky toffee pudding and salted caramel ice cream....great chef and a knockout pub!

User

Anna and her staff are wonderful and were so helpful when helping me organise a surprise party for my mum and dad. People are still talking about how good the food was 6 months on. Lovely staff and pub and superb food. Plus it's great that they are so dog friendly, a bonus. Xx

User

The website gallery looks better than the real place. Beer garden not large at all and needs some livening up. The marquee needs a good clean up as it looks like it stays up in all weathers. Will agree that staff are very friendly. Sunday dinner portions don't warrant the price paid, small and more roast potatoes needed with more veg. Could be a little gem with some TLC...

User

Great meal but the room was cold due to the outer door being opeb.

This slightly spoiled it for me. Quality of food couldn't be faulted though.

User

Overpriced standard pub grub.. Staff were friendly but rarely seen after food brought to the table. £14.00 for three sausages and mash, was expecting something special but received dry, over cooked sausages and tasteless mash. Don't even get me started on the alleged red wine gravy! Very poor performance by any standards.
