Wicked night at the Dover Castle last night; The Magpies' set was epic. Can not recommend this pub enough! Booze, noms, beer garden, art, events, great staff and live music = winning! :D

My favourite Hanover pub. Not too trendy just a good honest pub. Fabulous friendly staff, great food, nice fire in winter and reasonably priced. What’s not to like???
Having been here over the years, the food has always been a bit hit or miss. Our meal on Saturday was lovely and everyone enjoyed what they had even though we had a variety of different customers, including family visiting from Cornwall A no. Veggie. The service was good but un-obtrusive. Keep it up Dover Castle!

Food was great. Grumpy chef didn’t want to serve add ons but bar staff were awesome and got them added on. Love the atmosphere at the end of the week too. � Also the most loveliest dogs ever!!!
Fantastic cat art show on throughout May, lovely staff and great beer garden. A very enjoyable pub to spend time in!

Amazing food experience
Lovely atmosphere, friendly, happy staff and excellent food! We sat in the bar as the dinning area was full, we got the last table in the bar an although the music was a little bit load it was very good ÔøΩ. I will be going back again next time I'm in Brighton.
Haven't been here for years even though I'm local. Glad to see it's not changed. Friendly staff, nice food (flat lemonade ÔøΩ) chilled atmosphere. Music was a bit loud at times. I like to be able to chat with friends without raising my voice. Will look forward to another visit because this pub has heart.
Food was very tasty and obviously homemade with quality ingredients.Much of an improvement since we last ate there. Very child friendly and welcoming.Would recommend.
