Here's a reason for all you clever bastards to be cheerful: on Saturday 9th February the Egremont are hosting The Blox - a tribute to the genius which was the late great Mr Ian Dury, and to his blocktastic band The Blockheads! :-)!

England take on Ireland at Lansdowne Road this Saturday afternoon and we're showing the whole of the match on our mega HD tellies. Come and enjoy the atmosphere at The Egremont. We're serving food all afternoon and we're also showing the preceding game: Scotland -v- Italy starting at 2.15 pm. Hang around after the game as we have cracking entertainment from party group The Lewis House Band, kicking off at 8.45 pm..

The Brooks House Band make their debut at The Egremont next Saturday, 2nd February. With a set of classic rock and pop tunes from that 60s sound right through to 90s brit pop and even some noughties!
Expect music from the Beatles, Oasis, The Specials and even some singalong tunes you thought you'd forgotten over the years.

Get Ready for our Disco Inferno night at The Egremont on Friday 8th February where Treeanna will bring you Good Times and guarantee you'll be Dancing In The Street by the end of the evening. Why not make an evening of it and book in for dinner? As usual everybody's welcome, there's free entry and you'll know all the songs.

The Ministry of Anthems bring their Rutherfords Retro show to the Egremont on Friday 15th February.
Following on from their brilliant debut gig here in September the creators of the Dumb Waiters are back with their new show playing a cracking set of 90s Club Classics, Old Skool and your favourite dance anthems.
As usual it's free entry for all. Dancing obligatory.
