We love these! You don't see beer mats in many pubs these days. But, you can order these beautiful ones, featuring iconic World Cup moments. All money raised from them goes towards the Football Beyond Borders charity: https://weirdworldcup.com/

What a fantastic Sunday afternoon at The Foley Arms went to try there roast and so wasn't disappointed it was fabulous! Firstly what brilliant service nothing was to much trouble and we were a tad needy. The food was delicious served hot and plentiful we all different meats and all of us commented on how it was one of if not the best roasts we have ever had (sorry Mum). We arrived at 1230 and left at 6pm because after lunch we moved into lounge area Sat on the sofas and chilled out all day with staff continuously checking if we needed anything else etc. The bar staff were attentive and engaging I think you can tell I was really impressed so keep up the good work and see you next Sunday I'm bringing more friends

User

Regularly enjoy nice food and great service here.

User

My local, and its generally a good one. High end red wines need improvement (the St Emilion is particularly disappointing) but the food, decor and staff are of a high standard.

User

It's the place where I feel at home. Great service, beautiful rooms, cozy beds, great food... well everything's great. Its a good price for a beutiful place and great experience. It's my resident place whenever I come here and I come often

User

I stayed in room 18 for 2 nights and it was just superb, way beyond the rate paid. Attended the Tuesday night pub quiz and enjoyed dinner in the bar. All members of staff I encountered were courteous, but friendly & warm. Eggs Benedict for breakfast was....heavenly. The Foley is my port of call for future trips to the area.

User

Great traditional English grub and beers.

I recommend the Steak and ale pie, it's a proper pie not a bowl with a crust on.

Hotel rooms are stylish and immaculate.

User

Fantastic hotel, very comfortable and a lovely breakfast menu. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

User

User

Booked a table for post Christmas meal. Lovely waiting staff. All of our meals were cooked to perfection.

User

Booked & was pleasantly surprised to find it was part of the Youngs brewery. Staff were very efficient & friendly. The room we had was a lovely size & decorated well. The bed was quite comfy. The breakfast was very good. Would definitely recommend to our friends.

User

Very nice pub the staff were very polite and helpful and the meals were fantastic. I would recommend this pub to everyone.

User

The welcome was good and the Food was great, if a little expensive.

Unfortunately too much noise to make comfortable conversation!

User

Beautifully appointed room, wonderful bed. Breakfast ¤Ź│ well below par but otherwise good experience

User

The pub and food are great and the staff really friendly, but only 3 stars due to a real lack of veggie options!!

User

Love the Foley for atmosphere and a relaxing place to spend a few hours over drinks. Food hit and miss and not cheap. First time I've had those pink seafood sticks in seafood pasta ( and at ┬Ż16!)

User

Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon but please please put a veggie option on your Sunday lunch..... No one wants to eat pasta on a Sunday! Our waiter was great a cobbled me something together as I love all the roast trimmings but just a nut roast, or some veggie sausages would be perfect as a alternative to meat. Great pub, fab location.....come on make us veggies happy.

User

Really embarrassing how bad the service is here,I lost my drink from tidy round. The young lad told me off for leaving my drink unattended. I asked to speak to manager , who thought it was best to explain about drinks getting spiked. I am going to seek a refund and they should understand no one likes the foley who lives in Claygate. It is run like a WitherspoonŌĆÖs.

User

Over priced, poor quality, staff unwilling/uninterested. Nicely decorated but no atmosphere. No wonder this place always seems empty.
