Went there with my girlfriend for a haircut while she had a prosseco

While we were waiting we tried the lottery ticket machine there and won £150!

All the staff congratulated us and it was great conversation

The barber who cut my hair was really nice and professional

He also did a great job with my hair

When I'm next on the island I know where I will be coming

Went there for the first time today for a skin fade and loved the result. Really friendly and welcoming and a relaxed atmosphere.



Will certainly be my regular barbers.

Was the first time I’d visited today with my Son George. The gentleman that cut and styled his hair was amazing. Chatty, bubbly and did a fantastic job! Will be coming to the gambling man from now on!

Very professional and friendly service for cutting my husbands and baby sons hair , had a lot of patients jack did as he wasn't playing ball my 15 month old lol , milly the owner a lovely lady , all the staff very very good at there job! Thank you xxx

The best barbers on the south coast for sure, you can't go anywhere to get your hair cut whilst having a drink at the same time apart from at the Gambling Man. Highly recommend :)

So this morning I messaged at stupid o clock asking them to try and cut my 4 year old sons hair. Not an easy feat when he is petrified of the hairdresser!!! But he didn't cry! Millie is amazing! So kind and patient and made it fun for him! And he ended up with a really cool haircut ready for his birthday party!!! Thanks guys!!!

Second time in now and another great cut. Really good service (even though after 6pm ), good banter and very help full with styling. If you need your barnet squaring away, gents you are hard pushed in Ryde to find better. Seems like the gambling man is the ace in the hole....

Regular customer and never disappoints. Always have a chat with the bloke that does my hair. Sometimes can be a bit of a wait but its worth it

Only wanted to pop in with my mate to see him get a trim and ended up with one myself... absolutely spot on... this won’t be the last time I go there, quality service and quality barbers ���

Not rushed, perfect cut, beard trim/shape, friendly, stylish set up and a proper laugh with Jack and co! 10 out of 10 �

I wandered in a couple of weeks or thereabouts ago on the off-chance and got a damned fine haircut, one of the best I've ever had. Dan the barber is a genius, and a nice guy to boot. Can't tell you how happy I am with the service I got from the fine folks at the Gambling Man, and will definitely be coming back for more.

I very rarely change barbers due to bad experiences, but a buddy of mine said to head down and check this place out. It's got everything you'd want from a traditional barbers. Great appearance, the company logo stands out like no other, and of course the lovely and friendly barber. I'd highly recommend this establishment for a child or man of any age. Keep up the work, you've got a new customer.

First time coming in today. Couldn’t get in anywhere else! My hair desperately needed cutting! Absolutely delighted. So glad I came in! Friendly greeting walking in, not long waiting either. My hair looks a lot better and feels amazing and much better too! Jack my hairdresser was very very friendly and chatty! Great guy! Also loved the style of the place overall and the decor, the music playing also was amazing! My kind of music! Reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be returning. Customer forever now haha! Also the whole experience of my hair being cut was amazing wasn’t what I expected and also nothing like what I’ve had before when having my hair cut! So pleased ���

Exceptional hair cut, wash and beard trim, all with the added bonus of its very own bar.

Considering moving to the Isle from the Midlands just for this service.
