Went to the girls only allowed night on the 12th with 11 other friends it was a fantastic night from start to finish we laughed & danced all night highly recommended and we will definatly be back for the next one and future special nights ....thank you for a great night!!!

We had our wedding here on 3rd August 2018 and had the most perfect day. Kirsty was our wedding planner and I have to say she is a total asset to the place! Never seen such a hard worker! She made sure every aspect of the day was perfect from the run up and planning to the very last minute of the wedding day. The food was absolutely beautiful and the service from all of the hotel staff was amazing. Our ceremony was in the Washington Suite which then lead into the Orangery and both rooms were stunning and dressed beautifully. The grounds are amazing outside and we have some fabulous photos to treasure. We used the spa the night before (just the girls) and cannot complain at all. What an amazing experience, I can’t recommend the venue and Kirsty enough xx

We always come swimming with the kids, they are fantastic facilities and the staff are a credit to the company too �

Stayed last night to celebrate my partners birthday we really enjoyed our selves. Room was comfortable, we had a relaxing time in the spa room and visited the Carter and Fitch restaurant. Food and cocktails where amazing and we had a great night listening to the band. Great value for money, Thourally enjoyed ourselves and would go back x

Myself and my husband stayed last night the room was lovely and very clean, when we arrived at reception to check in we were greeted by Chloe who was lovely friendly and helpful thank you.

My sister got married here yesterday! I must say Kirsty brash is a credit to the hotel! If it wasn't for Kirsty I don't think the day would have been the same! She is amazing, never stopped all day and was professional throughout! Thank you so much Kirsty xxx

Great place friendly staff , carter and finch restaurant is great ... WiFi is great ... parking great ... can’t really find anything negative to say ... which is why whenever I’m close it’s my first choice

Got married here yesterday, everything went perfect. Special mention to Kirsty who is absolutely fantastic, from start to finish she is a star! ,nothing was to much trouble, she was constantly on the go making sure everything was ok! Got married here on 6th April and we had the most amazing day! Everything was perfect from start to finish and all of our guest had a great day! The staff were amazing especially Kirsty who made sure our day was perfect! Thank you so much to everyone involved!

Fantastic place very warm and welcoming.

Came last Friday for a open night for HD make up. First of all we went to the spa as this was were I parked. It was a horrible wet day. The manager however greeted us in a very friendly manor and took 2 of us down to the reception area with a umbrella and then came back for the 3rd person and brought her down with the umbrella so we didn’t get wet resulting in himself being soaked. We then went to the open evening were we where greeted by lovely pleasant members of staff from the spa who all came over at some point of the evening to ask if we where enjoying ourselves and if they could get us anything. Fantastic night will defo be booking into the spa very soon! Thanks for making our evening a pleasant one.

Attended the Ladies Night Friday 11th May 2018 and what a night. Laughed all the way with Miss Ophelia Balls. Disco was fantastic and the Naked Men were a bonus.... Please, please let’s have another Ladies Only night x

We came here a few days ago as at treat from my mam to cheer us up after a really rubbish year. So we were all looking forward to the spa day. We arrived just before 11 am and had to wait for spa staff to greet us to give us robes towels and show us round we didn't wait long. We headed for the pool and Jacuzzi we had been told that the sauna was our of order but may be open later in the day. After a swim in the pool we all went to the Jacuzzi unfortunately this didn't last long as me and my sister had to leave as the chlorine was stinging our eyes and we couldn't cope with it. After an hour we decided to get food which was lovely and return for our treatments as alot of gym members and children came in to use the pool. We went to the relaxation room which was far from it there was no music as the only CD they claimed to have was broken so we could hear the people in the room above us walking round and making noise. They then got my mam and my grans treatments mixed up which resulted in my gran being told she couldn't have her treatment as they thought she was having a back massage and couldn't lie flat when infact she was having a head massage. Overall we left feeling a bit disappointed with the day and would not return

Wasnt much choice of lagers or beers and very.expensive the lad behind the bar if he went any slower he would have stopped. The xmas night and meal were crap the meal took ages to come and the entertainment was atrocious the only plus side the waitress was helpful and the rooms were very nice

Rooms was outdated but you have spent a lot of money on carpet in the hallways throughout the hotel it's just a shame they could not do the rooms first! They also didn't receive the beer delivery so had no Heineken and ran out of beer before the end out the night. I was at a wedding reception and you'd of thought they would of had a full beer cellar on hand ready for a big event!

Over 20 family members and children went for a meal . What a disapointment. We sat down at 12.30 eventually a member of staff appeared for the drinks order at 12.45 , Sullen slow and not interested Drinks arrived and then another long wait for someone to take the starters order. that took 30 mins to arrive and when it did it was wrong, 1 member of our party had to wait a further 10 mins as they had missed his order, after the starter was finished another 10 min wait for the table to be cleared and then they only took the plates and not the serving dishes or empty glasses and cups, I asked for some milk for my tea which never arrived so ordered a fresh pot as my origional cuppa had gone cold. then another long wait for the main course Eventually the main course arrived minus a few things missing off the vegitarian orders, The food was tasty but the children could not eat the mash as it was overloaded with pepper and very spicy. , The staff then again removed only the plates from the table and left empty glasses and cups and serving dishes. Then desert time very nice but the table still had not been cleared properly . The staff were all sullen only once did someone ask if everything was ok and that was only because a member of our group had voiced that no one had come to the table to ask if everything was ok or and if we required anything else, We had to search for staff if we needed anything else like drinks, and by the time we left there was still members of our group that were waiting for their drinks 45 mins after they ordered.. We left the restaurant as soon as we had finished the meal at 3.45. It took 3hours and 15 mins for the meal. Ridiculously slow service, the staff were totally unhappy and I never once saw any one of the staff (when there was someone on the floor) smile once. We spent over £400 for this shoddy service, The food on the whole was edible but not that special. The experience was a let down and every Adult member of our group was totally disapointed at the shoddy service.. If I wrote down everything that was wrong with this meal experience I'd of wasted another 3hrs 15mins of my time . would I recomend this place for a meal.... A huge NO

Food is prepacked so called hand cooked fries are frozen. A steak knife is usually customary to be served with a steak.... well it wasn't good steak it was terrible steak. Peppercorn sauce...by the bucket full. Chicken dryer than the Sahara desert in fact a steak knife might have helped with that.



Room some sort of 70s throwback sofas were absolutely awful! No face cloths in the bathroom come on people it's a basic thing. I mean I get the whole if it's not broken don't fix it but bloody he'll update the place it's actually terrible I've been to better cafes and bed and breakfasts charging half what this place does. Massive disappointment.



Will try again in the future if you update and hire a real chef and get rid of the mess of a menu.

Upon arrival to the spa we were not greeted and waiting for 10 minuets before being seen to.

The men’s changing rooms were unclean had towels all over the floor.

The jacuzzi was filled by a cold garden hose which resulted in it being ice cold and unusable for use throughout the whole duration of our stay.

We could only access the steam room, which the door does not close resulting in a lack of steam. Secondly the unsanitary conditions, due to mould.

The pool had not been cleaned, as it was a merely colour, and again ice cold.

There was a door at the bottom on the pool area which would not close. This made the whole room very cold and unpleasant to sit in.

Overall it was not a relaxing spa experience. I am highly disappointed as it an expensive birthday gift for my partner.



I complained at the time and received an email from the hotel offering me a return visit, which I am aware is now worth £3.99. As I paid £77 I do not feel that is acceptable. I am still waiting on a reply from the hotel after my response email but due to a lack of response I thought it was important to share it with others who are thinking of going.

My back is actually worse now after that massage! Waste of money and I was only in there for 20 mins! The lady who did it was lovely but the experience itself was shocking! The relaxation room? The was people walking about upstairs every 2 mins, no relaxation music we had to use our phones! The pool was freezing! The jacuzzi wasn't working, the sauna was electric so there's not really benefit to the skin at all and the steam room door didn't close properly? Felt like the staff could have been nicer too! The floors were disgusting with hair and dust mixed with shower water! Not a nice place really disappointed �

Had night away with husband we were welcomed by friendly reception staff room was excellent.we had meal in restaurant couldn’t fault it we really enjoyed our stay we would go back

We came here a few days ago as at treat from my mam to cheer us up after a really rubbish year. So we were all looking forward to the spa day. We arrived just before 11 am and had to wait for spa staff to greet us to give us robes towels and show us round we didn't wait long. We headed for the pool and Jacuzzi we had been told that the sauna was our of order but may be open later in the day. After a swim in the pool we all went to the Jacuzzi unfortunately this didn't last long as me and my sister had to leave as the chlorine was stinging our eyes and we couldn't cope with it. After an hour we decided to get food which was lovely and return for our treatments as alot of gym members and children came in to use the pool. We went to the relaxation room which was far from it there was no music as the only CD they claimed to have was broken so we could hear the people in the room above us walking round and making noise. They then got my mam and my grans treatments mixed up which resulted in my gran being told she couldn't have her treatment as they thought she was having a back massage and couldn't lie flat when infact she was having a head massage. Overall we left feeling a bit disappointed with the day and would not return

Wasnt much choice of lagers or beers and very.expensive the lad behind the bar if he went any slower he would have stopped. The xmas night and meal were crap the meal took ages to come and the entertainment was atrocious the only plus side the waitress was helpful and the rooms were very nice

Rooms was outdated but you have spent a lot of money on carpet in the hallways throughout the hotel it's just a shame they could not do the rooms first! They also didn't receive the beer delivery so had no Heineken and ran out of beer before the end out the night. I was at a wedding reception and you'd of thought they would of had a full beer cellar on hand ready for a big event!

Over 20 family members and children went for a meal . What a disapointment. We sat down at 12.30 eventually a member of staff appeared for the drinks order at 12.45 , Sullen slow and not interested Drinks arrived and then another long wait for someone to take the starters order. that took 30 mins to arrive and when it did it was wrong, 1 member of our party had to wait a further 10 mins as they had missed his order, after the starter was finished another 10 min wait for the table to be cleared and then they only took the plates and not the serving dishes or empty glasses and cups, I asked for some milk for my tea which never arrived so ordered a fresh pot as my origional cuppa had gone cold. then another long wait for the main course Eventually the main course arrived minus a few things missing off the vegitarian orders, The food was tasty but the children could not eat the mash as it was overloaded with pepper and very spicy. , The staff then again removed only the plates from the table and left empty glasses and cups and serving dishes. Then desert time very nice but the table still had not been cleared properly . The staff were all sullen only once did someone ask if everything was ok and that was only because a member of our group had voiced that no one had come to the table to ask if everything was ok or and if we required anything else, We had to search for staff if we needed anything else like drinks, and by the time we left there was still members of our group that were waiting for their drinks 45 mins after they ordered.. We left the restaurant as soon as we had finished the meal at 3.45. It took 3hours and 15 mins for the meal. Ridiculously slow service, the staff were totally unhappy and I never once saw any one of the staff (when there was someone on the floor) smile once. We spent over £400 for this shoddy service, The food on the whole was edible but not that special. The experience was a let down and every Adult member of our group was totally disapointed at the shoddy service.. If I wrote down everything that was wrong with this meal experience I'd of wasted another 3hrs 15mins of my time . would I recomend this place for a meal.... A huge NO

Food is prepacked so called hand cooked fries are frozen. A steak knife is usually customary to be served with a steak.... well it wasn't good steak it was terrible steak. Peppercorn sauce...by the bucket full. Chicken dryer than the Sahara desert in fact a steak knife might have helped with that.



Room some sort of 70s throwback sofas were absolutely awful! No face cloths in the bathroom come on people it's a basic thing. I mean I get the whole if it's not broken don't fix it but bloody he'll update the place it's actually terrible I've been to better cafes and bed and breakfasts charging half what this place does. Massive disappointment.



Will try again in the future if you update and hire a real chef and get rid of the mess of a menu.

Upon arrival to the spa we were not greeted and waiting for 10 minuets before being seen to.

The men’s changing rooms were unclean had towels all over the floor.

The jacuzzi was filled by a cold garden hose which resulted in it being ice cold and unusable for use throughout the whole duration of our stay.

We could only access the steam room, which the door does not close resulting in a lack of steam. Secondly the unsanitary conditions, due to mould.

The pool had not been cleaned, as it was a merely colour, and again ice cold.

There was a door at the bottom on the pool area which would not close. This made the whole room very cold and unpleasant to sit in.

Overall it was not a relaxing spa experience. I am highly disappointed as it an expensive birthday gift for my partner.



I complained at the time and received an email from the hotel offering me a return visit, which I am aware is now worth £3.99. As I paid £77 I do not feel that is acceptable. I am still waiting on a reply from the hotel after my response email but due to a lack of response I thought it was important to share it with others who are thinking of going.

My back is actually worse now after that massage! Waste of money and I was only in there for 20 mins! The lady who did it was lovely but the experience itself was shocking! The relaxation room? The was people walking about upstairs every 2 mins, no relaxation music we had to use our phones! The pool was freezing! The jacuzzi wasn't working, the sauna was electric so there's not really benefit to the skin at all and the steam room door didn't close properly? Felt like the staff could have been nicer too! The floors were disgusting with hair and dust mixed with shower water! Not a nice place really disappointed �

Went to the girls only allowed night on the 12th with 11 other friends it was a fantastic night from start to finish we laughed & danced all night highly recommended and we will definatly be back for the next one and future special nights ....thank you for a great night!!!

We had our wedding here on 3rd August 2018 and had the most perfect day. Kirsty was our wedding planner and I have to say she is a total asset to the place! Never seen such a hard worker! She made sure every aspect of the day was perfect from the run up and planning to the very last minute of the wedding day. The food was absolutely beautiful and the service from all of the hotel staff was amazing. Our ceremony was in the Washington Suite which then lead into the Orangery and both rooms were stunning and dressed beautifully. The grounds are amazing outside and we have some fabulous photos to treasure. We used the spa the night before (just the girls) and cannot complain at all. What an amazing experience, I can’t recommend the venue and Kirsty enough xx

We always come swimming with the kids, they are fantastic facilities and the staff are a credit to the company too �

Stayed last night to celebrate my partners birthday we really enjoyed our selves. Room was comfortable, we had a relaxing time in the spa room and visited the Carter and Fitch restaurant. Food and cocktails where amazing and we had a great night listening to the band. Great value for money, Thourally enjoyed ourselves and would go back x

Myself and my husband stayed last night the room was lovely and very clean, when we arrived at reception to check in we were greeted by Chloe who was lovely friendly and helpful thank you.

My sister got married here yesterday! I must say Kirsty brash is a credit to the hotel! If it wasn't for Kirsty I don't think the day would have been the same! She is amazing, never stopped all day and was professional throughout! Thank you so much Kirsty xxx

Great place friendly staff , carter and finch restaurant is great ... WiFi is great ... parking great ... can’t really find anything negative to say ... which is why whenever I’m close it’s my first choice

Got married here yesterday, everything went perfect. Special mention to Kirsty who is absolutely fantastic, from start to finish she is a star! ,nothing was to much trouble, she was constantly on the go making sure everything was ok! Got married here on 6th April and we had the most amazing day! Everything was perfect from start to finish and all of our guest had a great day! The staff were amazing especially Kirsty who made sure our day was perfect! Thank you so much to everyone involved!

Fantastic place very warm and welcoming.

Came last Friday for a open night for HD make up. First of all we went to the spa as this was were I parked. It was a horrible wet day. The manager however greeted us in a very friendly manor and took 2 of us down to the reception area with a umbrella and then came back for the 3rd person and brought her down with the umbrella so we didn’t get wet resulting in himself being soaked. We then went to the open evening were we where greeted by lovely pleasant members of staff from the spa who all came over at some point of the evening to ask if we where enjoying ourselves and if they could get us anything. Fantastic night will defo be booking into the spa very soon! Thanks for making our evening a pleasant one.

Attended the Ladies Night Friday 11th May 2018 and what a night. Laughed all the way with Miss Ophelia Balls. Disco was fantastic and the Naked Men were a bonus.... Please, please let’s have another Ladies Only night x
