A little sneak peak at our selection of Christmas prints now in stock ๐
Afternoon everyone ๐ After being asked on many occasions we are happy to let you know about a new stocked item. We have just taken delivery of a large quantity of foam. We now have various sizes/depth peices in stock all with adhesive backing.
We had an exciting call at the shop today from the production company that helps with THE GREAT BRITISH SEWING BEE. They have asked for us to spread the word so here it is ๐ Good luck everyone
Weโre looking for a new collection of brilliant amateur sewers for the fifth series of BBC Twoโs The Great British Sewing Bee. For more information or to apply please go to: www.applyforsewingbee.co.uk Closing Date: Midnight May 28th 2018
We are happy to say we have this week extended our product range. We will now be stocking a cake making range from Mich Turner Little Venice cake company. More products will follow keeping this range a good complement to our existing bridal range ๐

Morning here are just a few items which are new to our stock. The hessian webbing is perfect for bag handles while the new range of buttons and trimmings are a lovely addiction to any project.
Morning I would just like to take this opportunity on kays last day to wish her lots of success in her new Job and to thank her for all her hard work on the shops page to date. I hope to carry on her good work and to keep you all updated with new stock and offers. Amanda
I have news ... I'm leaving The Haberdashery Shop next week for pastures new. Amanda is taking over as admin on this page, she'll be able to answer your questions about stock so much better than me (she's the shop manager). Please be gentle with her ... she's a little concerned that she's nowhere near as 'kookie' as me & that you're all going to desert her!! Of course I don't think I'm mad/odd/kookie!! Kay x
Sharing this as it's my friends fathers bike ... cycling at 83 - pretty amazing (& he doesn't just pootle he goes for miles & miles) x
I found this today - Thank you Herb Lester! Kay x
The last pitch has gone at Petticoat Lane. I've spotted a fair few of our lovely customers down there (& expect to see oodles more of you) as the pitches are being built & dressed. So ... what are you all selling?! Kay x
Pretty, shiny, sparkly & all mother of pearl. It really doesn't take much to make me smile!! Kay x
There's me prattling on about letters that look like the back of cats when there's more important things to discuss ... Series 3 of The Great British Sewing Bee starts soon (5th Feb I think). For me the appeal is a cross between inspiration, education & Patrick Grant! Kay x
Today's offerings from the haberdashery! We found some more letter beads although the Q could double (I think) as the back view of a cat ... And who remembers Sarah Kay?! Kay x

Wow, what a place. Happened to stumble across this place whilst having a relaxing weekend with hubby in Ramsgate. Such a wonderful shop and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Go and visit, you won't be disappointed!
Also check out the clearance store in Cleaver Lane, a whole host of bargains to be had.
Wonderful amount of stock, great prices and friendly staff
Unbelievable place I love it !!!
The shop is fantastic, the staff are so helpful and even when we 'cut it a bit fine' at close to closing time, they still went out of their way to help us find the right material and zips for my daughter's GCSE project. Thank you again for your help!
The best selection of buttons I have ever seen ๏ฟฝ Well worth a visit. Anne :)
Staff in this shop are so helpful and really know their stuff. I would highly recommend this place.
Love visiting this shop, a little piece of haberdashery heaven. Its been far too long!
Love this shop - full of fab fabric & habs - and wonderfully cheerful & helpful staff.
Love this cave of wonders!
I would so give if you were here in the US I would never leave your store!!! Your lace... Oh heaven!!!!!!
I visited this treasure trove a few weeks ago for the first time! Planning a return trip and i know just what I want to buy!
I love this place! Always have what I need and so many bits and bobs that I just can't resist!
A great place for the experienced and not so experienced with a fab staff always able to help.
I have been using this shop since it was above the school uniform shop a few yards from it's new home and that was about 30 years ago.
Still in business so they must be doing something right.
My son and daughter-in-law use them when they need items for their alterations and repair shop too.
Well done, keep up the good work.
I had a fantastic day today. I visited the haberdashery and fabric shop in Ramsgate. The shops are jam packed with fabric and haberdashery I could have spent a fortune there. As it is I blew the budget but I bought some gorgeous fabrics and trimmings all very very reasonably priced.
Excellent shop in the heart of Ramsgate City Centre. So much stock and staff are so helpful and friendly.
Been buying since the 60's when I used to get my daughter's ribbons, (she's now over 50). Also used to buy from Dougie in the market before the shops. I love all the buttons. Someone put they do alterations. Is this right?
Always friendly and helpful, I have been a customer for many years and pleased they are now back under one roof
