One of the more unusual 'crafts' we've seen moored up here. Not quite sure what to make of it...

User

Iffley Lock came second in the country in a poll to find the happiest view. How could you not be happy seeing these guys? Even more happily, you can see it from our garden!

User

Q: How do you drink 10 pints of lager at The Isis and still walk home without falling in the river? A: Cotswold 22. Great tasting lager but only 2.2% alcohol. Available on draft now.

User

Traditional Irish session tonight in the bar from around 9pm.

User

There's a man playing accordion, in the garden.

We provided security to the ISIS farmhouse for an event called goodness last week and have to say that the management and staff were fantastic with ourselves and the customers.

Nothing but good feedback from all the people attending the event on both the quality of the food, drinks and service.

Gorgeous location and will definatly come back soon with my family in a non working capacity to visit.

Brilliant place.

User

Three tasty meals, good Cotswold ale and dogs welcome. Perfect.

User

Love this place. Glad it's not changing itself and becoming just another boring modernised pub. If shabby's not for you then don't come here, you won't get it! Love that it's relaxed and charming and you can't beat the setting.

User

Love Love Love... what more can we say... Adrian and Noreen what a fantastic place, people and music xxxxx

User

Had my 50th birthday party here 9th June - Noreen & the guys were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, the buffet was great value for money, the barn is lovely venue & the party went off without a hitch. We even managed to see a bit of Noreen & Adrian live later in the evening too. Its a fab place to go, the staff are so friendly & you need to visit. Thanks guys, if I had to be 50 then The Isis Farmhouse was a great place to be.

User

Had a lovely walk out to the Isis Tavern this pm and we were impressed by how friendly and welcoming the staff were, and how family friendly the place has become after a few short weeks under new management. Drinking water and fruit laid out for the kids and fresh water outside for dogs. The cake and selection of drinks are as good as before and it is looking really clean and well kept. Well done and thank you for a pleasant afternoon.

User

Great atmosphere. Makes the walk down from Christ Church worthwhile and fabulous cream tea - what more can be asked for?

User

Fantastic and welcoming atmosphere! Amazing musicians last night for Irish Trad night, thank you, I’ll be back!! xx

User

Came here for a party....what a fantastic pub, can't wait to come again

User

Brilliant, great beer, great people, England at its best!

User

Amazing place run by the fabulously talented Adrian Burke and Noreen Cullen. Come for the location and food, stay for the music and ambience - will definitely be back

User

quaint bar with rustic appeal.

Tremendous music.

Good beer and a truly fantastic location

User

beautiful setting but really low selection of food. if you feel like having a drink in a beautiful peaceful setting this is the place to be.

User

This unusual rustic pub is only accessible via a stroll along the Thames Path (between Oxford and Kennington), no vehicle access or car park. Do check their website for opening times as it's not open every day, and times differ depending on the time of the year. There is a great buzz here, it's always busy and family friendly, with plenty of seating inside and out. There is food, but quite basic, so don't expect fancy. There was a good selection of cakes when we went though.

User

Nice riverside pub, not too far from Donnington Bridge. Had a nice vegetable chilli and the place was packed out when Deadbeat Apostles started playing

User

Lovely venue and staff.

User

Great cider, great atmosphere and great location.

Best chips I’ve had in a very long time.

User

Visited here today busy aa usual haven’t been for a while. Sad to see the place looking so grubby inside and out, needs a good makeover.

User

Visited today managed to get table easily enough , ordered food, told after half an hour that part of order unavailable so reordered , another 30 mins later told again part of the order unavailable, finally after well over an hour we were served cream of mushroom soup which must have been minus the cream as it was far too thick, and three roast beef dinners which were Luke warm ,al dense carrots to the extreme and over cooked beans and two peas. Tables either side of us left complete meal untouched , need I say more. No one came to ask us if food was ok ..very poor service and sadly will not be returning
