Tried the Jolly Coopers today for the first time and have to say - it won’t be our last. Food was lovely, staff were amazing and the chocolate brownie was the best I’ve tasted in a long time. All good home cooked food. We actually had a little hiccup with our order, but I have to say the management were brilliant in rectifying the problem and it didn’t distract from the enjoyment of our meal.... in fact, how they dealt with it made us even more impressed with the place. Definitely worth a visit.

Not sure we really want to recommend this place as we almost want to keep it to ourselves if you know what we mean but how can we not recommend people to visit here. We have been twice now and felt well and truly spoilt both times. The food is absolutely beautiful... Perfection. The flavours are to die for, the presentation, the ambience, the service are all second to none.



We've booked a third visit for a Sunday roast which we've heard nothing but good things about.



It's all so reasonably priced aswell so don't think you'll pay over the odds. We come away feeling like we've escaped, relaxed and had more than just a meal out.



Take our advice, drive past the pub down the road and come here.



We must also mention the beautiful hanging baskets outside, there is attention to detail everywhere.



We are so glad this place was recommended to us. We hope you all enjoy it as much as we do.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. The fish and chips were very tasty, and the ox cheek and belly pork dishes were also enjoyable. The ice cream is delicious.

Love love love the refurb. They've definitely made a silk purse out of a sows ear. They still allow dogs in the bar area, although not in the restaurant but that isn't a problem as you can still eat in the bar area. Staff are very friendly and a lovely atmosphere too. Had a Sunday roast a couple of weeks ago and it was the best I've had anywhere, although the portion size for me was too much. That isn't a criticism just an observation

I was at their microbrewery opening, which was quite busy. Good beer, Morris dancing and a view of the brewery made it a good day. A good range of their own brew beers and reasonably priced.

Great food & service - as a vegetarian I was particularly impressed with the Vegan Burger which was probably the best non-meat burger I've had.

Fabulous meal at The Jolly Coopers tonight. Food was first-rate and the staff very knowledgeable with just the right level of service. Ginger polenta cake & creme fraiche ice-cream was delicious.

Came for a meal on 6th march and everything was PERFECT!



We were the only table dining and treated like royalty. Unfortunately i didnt manage to get the servers name but he was fantastic!



All our food was SUPERB, good quality and decent portions and an excellent choice. And beautifuly presented.



Drink choice was excellent with a FANTASTIC choice of beers from local breweries, as well as a nice selection of wines and gins.



Even had a nice suprise when my desert was presented with a sparkler.



Thanks guys for making my birthday special. Will definitely be back to work through the fantastic beer and gin selection!

Beer brewed on sight are lovely, food excellent.

Service first class.

Overall a great experience.
