Went today for lunch and the service was so friendly and welcoming (and so patient with my Mum who could not make her mind up lol!) Food tasted fresh and so much nicer than local chain restaurants...looks great for kids too so I will definitely be back soon :)

Well I have to say went here 3 times this weekend have no complaints at all. Staff friendly and polite. The food was amazing I had the chicken wrapped in Parma ham on Saturday and it was delicious! So much so I went back with my son on Sunday and had it again.

Have been here a number of times in the past but most definitely this weekend has been a pleasure with the locals and staff and food and will be going back next weekend for more x

We visited this lovely place about 3 weeks ago and was so impressed we did again on Wednesday evening but this time with a couple of friends. We had a very enjoyable evening and was looked after by a lovely young girl by the name of Shannon - what a nice polite young lady and very efficient nothing being too much trouble she made us feel welcome she is real hard working little treasure.

The food was excellent steaks cooked to everyone’s liking and the blue cheese sauce to die for.

This truly is a gem of a place and exceptional value for money, keep up the good work guys we will be returning soon and will do again and again and again!!

Very stupidly didn’t book a table and turned up yesterday to a very busy restaurant. There was 7 of us and they managed to juggle everything around and fit us in. Food was absolutely yummy and service friendly and prompt. The kids had a great time in the large garden on the bouncy castles and running around. Thanks again will definitely be back �.

The best steak with the best Diane sauce I’ve had for a long time, great service. Highly recommend

Not been for years, the food was absolutely amazing! Generous, cooked to perfection, great specials board. Excellent value for money, we will be visiting for great food on a regular basis from now on!

Lovely family friendly pub! Allowed the Gaming Vault van for our party to be parked there, and served party food for the kids. Very hospitable and friendly staff who were so helpful to us. Thank you so much, and we will come back again sometime!

I was part of a family party today to celebrate Mother's Day, and when we came in we could see it was very busy but all the staff are so efficient. Quickly served at the bar. Shown to our table. Excellent service from the waiting staff. The food as always was exquisite. We had a mix of starters for adults and children alike (I had the homemade soup) and the main meals we ordered were so good (I had the sea bass in creamed spinach). Thank you to all.

Hubby and I are fairly new to the area, and thus still exploring eateries. We live fairly close to this place, we discovered by accident yesterday. And decided to give it a try. Tbh the sports tv sign put me off, but we ventured in nevertheless. And sooooooo pleased we did. I had Tagliatelle and hubby a burger. All I can say is WOW, it was the best Tagliatelle I've ever had, and I've lived in Italy for a while! Hubby agreed his burger was amazing too. The sauce was perfect, crammed with so many shrimps and prawns. The food was so substantial, we couldn't fit in a dessert, which is unusual for us. I can therefore thoroughly recommend this place. The waiter was brilliant too, with a constant smile on his face. Best food we've had since moving to Thanet. We will definitely be making this place our regular eatery.

Had such a lovely day there on Sunday! Sun was shining, kids had a great time playing in the garden on the bouncy castles, really tasty food, live band and my favourite Hoxton gin (which you can rarely get in a pub!). A brilliant venue for a family day out, we’ll definitely be back!

Great meal ...and nothing to much trouble with one child being a little fussy in what he wanted the staff was not fazed by this and offerd what was not on the menue ...will be telling my friends to vist made a great day ..great meal ..great staff

Great attentive staff, amazing food and a garden with bouncy castles the kids can take over, very relaxed atmosphere without a doubt a great family venue.

Been here a few times now and the food has always been 10/10, great atmosphere for a family pub with reasonable food and drink prices and the steak night is just unbeatable value for money! The pub also has a garden which is great to have a drink in the summer. Can’t complain!!

Lovely old pub with unique history. Very friendly. Staff very attentive.



Large garden with great facilities for children. Food was good and reasonably priced. I had fish cakes. Tasty. Sweet was delicious. I had the toffee brownie with vanilla ice cream. Very naughty but nice.

Lovely meal at the Jolly Farmer today. Looked after my little coeliac really well with a good variety of gluten free foods on the menu. Nice garden with bouncy castles for the kids too.

Food was lovely myself being celiac they did an amazing menu and was able to swap and change things around for me

Only problem was my starter me and my boyfriend had both the same but mine being gluten free I asked for no dressing etc as I have to be so careful when it come out I noticed mine had dressing and sauce on etc my boyfriends did not so I asked if that's mine the waitress said ohh they have put your chicken on the wrong plate it was the correct chicken but everything else was wrong. They did say sorry and all was forgiven but its just lucky I asked. Also when I arrived we was shown to our table and the waiter was just stood there we had no even sat down yet they then said oh are wait till your all sat down to see what you want to drink. I just think its better to let people sit down get sorted then pop back but maybe that's just me. But this being said the food was amazing fresh salad etc and the price was really good also!
