Wow! Visited lunchtime today with my daughter. Had Lamb shank roast and my daughter picked a chicken dish from the children’s menu. Food was delicious, staff attentive and efficient. I can’t wait to visit again. Well done The Links

User

What a lovely pub can't believe it was our 1st time here last night as we only live a couple of miles away, lovely staff excellent food will definatly recommend to our family and friends , and we,ll come again I hear the Sunday roasts are lovely X

User

We popped in here on our way home from Champneys and wow what a find! It has a lovely bar with open fire and comfy seats then you go to a superb eating area you can either slum it or posh it! The food is fresh and tasty and fairly priced. I had the duck with mash fresh peas/curly kale it was delicious my friend the homemade steak and ale pie again to die for ! The gin and tonic was specialist standard with black currant ice cubes. We will be back soon need to try the burger next and have a few g&t's by the fire. A gem of a place , faultless. From a fussy moaning middle aged old bird.

We had booked a space for 16 people (9 adults & 7 children) and we were blown away when we arrived- beautifully decorated for a special Christmas meal. Lovely small touches- name places with all our menu choices. The staff were great and the food was fabulous. Everyone commented on what a lovely place it was and how great the service was. Thank you so much!

User

Lovely place to eat and drink, very attentive staff friendly and clean.

User

Had a lovely Roast on Sunday. Food was lovely and staff were brilliant! Little Easter Egg hunt for our 4 year old too who was very very happy! We will be back!! Thanks All!

User

Had a great evening the food and staff were excellent. They did a great job serving 40 people with a three course meal. Would recommend a visit.

User

Great pub. Super service. Food was delicious. Had to wait for the food but the chef suggested to give he children some We were very impressed. Kids loved the colouring.

User

Fantastic! The staff, the service, the food - it was just absolutely fantastic! This was the first time back in the Links for quite some time and we had the most amazing evening. The staff were so friendly and on the ball, the service was quick but not rushed and the food was cooked to perfection. Thank you so much to the team who looked after us the evening, we really had such a lovely time! See you all again soon!

User

Brilliant staff yesterday, really helpful, setting up a room that was booked as a surprise for my husbands birthday, helped me in with everything and laid on an amazing buffet! Really pleased , thanks so much!

User

Absolutely love this place, the food and staff are amazing. Highly recommend this as a pit stop before a trip to Champneys 😘

User

We just stopped by for a drink. It was a gorgeous day and we sat in the garden. Restaurant looked lovely and the pub is smart and well decorated.

User

Lovely food and great staff definitely go back.

User

Food very nice - when it eventually arrived. Staff pleasant and polite but seemed oblivious to customers. We had to ask for sweet menus half an hour after dinner plates were cleared and then no one came to clear sweet plates or ask if we wanted coffee. Gave up waiting, paid bill and left.

User

Went for a roast dinner yesterday and was very disappointed. The pork was dry and chewy and the boiled veg was tasteless. Our table was also in need of some serious cleaning as the joins in the tongue and groove well full of old food! Such a shame as we have been before and had a good meal. My husband had the salmon and made himself a sandwich when we went home because he was still hungry.

User

We are always in The Links, but this last time was very poor. The order was wrong, twice; they burnt the child's pizza so had to remake whilst the rest of the table ate; the pizza came and looked like it had been microwaved; and the size and presentation was atrocious and came without a salad or small side to at least attempt to make up for the embarrassment of a dire dish.

Friendly staff as always, but unfortunately it doesn't weigh up against the poor service and appauling child's lunch.

It wasn't just as either, as a couple across from us ordered 2 sandwiches and even those were wrong!

It would take a lot of persuading for us to go back.

User

I’ve always liked the place and had not been for a while, I was surprised to find the place quite quiet for a Friday night, not like it used to be always packed, I was shocked when I ask to pay for 2 single gin and tonic and a small bottle of sparkling water and was told £16.75 let’s put it this way no longer surprised the place was quiet and I won’t be going back in a hurry!!!! On another note the staff didn’t look like they wanted to be there.......

User

Fine looking establishment but !!!!

My round of two lagers a over chilled flat mass produced bitter & a coke £16.30

Humous & pitta platter with very small portion of fetta & olives £16+

Which was plonked to the table, leaving us to go seek serviettes &. Forks.

And then

colleagues round of four pkt crisps which were needed to use humous up as pitta potion was 'pittiful' & two small coke's, a bitter & a lager £18.75

This pretentious overpriced operation is one to avoid.

User

We visited for a birthday celebration. I booked online and had a special request for a bottle of prosecco and 6 glasses which was there on arrival. Apart from that and the nice atmosphere of the pub that's all that was good.

The food was such a disappointment. 5 out of our party of 6 ordered the burger as a main and we were all so u happy. The bread was a little burnt and very dry. The burger was just as dry and taking a bite was like eating cardboard. Such a shame as the prices are quite high so we were expecting amazing food.

The staff dealt with our complaint well and all the burgers were taken off the bill. Unfortunately that doesn't counteract the poor food. I'd probably come back for a drink but that's it.
