Your local secret speakeasy is staging a protest this Saturday to repeal the unfair and unjust laws of the prohibition! We will be celebrating all things alcoholic with our authentic 1920s cocktail menu. Join us from 7pm onwards and get ready to dance till you drop!

Feeling like its so close to the weekend you could sing for joy? Well, we've got you covered at the Hatter with our ever popular Kanpai! Karaoke running from 8pm. We have a delicious menu of selected tipples at a mad 25% off all night!

Feeling a little lost? Alice always finds the best way to go even if she doesn't quite feel like herself. From 9pm onwards this Wednesday let the Hatter lift your blues with delicious tipples, a lot of unbirthdays and (as always) a bit of madness!

Since a few months, aka when I discovered the Mad Hatter did karaoke, I have been here every week. The ambience is always great and the cocktails are delicious. The first time I got here, I was kinda holding back on singing, but that didn't keep me from having a great time. The DJ made me feel super welcome and we did one duet after the other while I was seated and she was managing the songs. She is the most amazing person in the world!

One of the best night outs you can have in Oxford! Beautiful venue with such charisma.

The bar staff are so lovely and provide a great service of some of the most interesting cocktails (like seriously, you can have your drink in a tea-cup! �).

Karaoke Thursday is my personal favourite and the DJ is great at keeping the night running and be always entertaining!

If you are in Oxford at any point, pop in to the Hatters!

Came here for our friends birthday and we had previously booked our table as it was a party of 9. When the taxi pulled up il admit our first impression was that of oh my it’s a house and what have we let ourselves in for � but this proves you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover!

Our whole night was fantastic a really quirky venue with bar staff paying attention to detail, nothing was to much trouble, our cocktail experience was fantastic and the DJ played a wide and varied set list.

Me and my friends laughed and danced till we hurt!

I throughly recommend and if we ever visit oxford again this will be our number 1 choice � thank you Mad Hatter xx

You can wait for two hours yet your song isn’t played because the DJ’s ‘friends’ are before you. Also, a 10 min wait at the bar for the bartender to tell you “you didn’t hear me say what do you want”.



It’s an awful experience and I won’t be going back. A good venue but poor staff and DJ.
