The Malt Shovel is dedicated to passion and quality. With 6 hand pulls serving the best of British beer and cider at all times (there are always at least 2 local breweries represented) it is Horsham's spiritual home for real Ale and Cider. Couple this with our quality house spirits and wines and our extensive back bar selection (name another Sussex pub with 13 different tequilas! ) and there is always something to please even the most discerning palate. This passion for quality extends into 'Red Beard's Pizza Menu', all freshly prepared and cooked to order in our stone base oven. The Malt Shovel Loves it's music, there is recorded music at all times, Open Mic Nights twice a month, Live bands every Saturday (they're as fussy about choosing the bands as they are the products! ) and other music events throughout the year. All of this is driven by Sam, Marie-Clare and their excellent staff who are always pleased to see you and to make the most of your visit.
