What a fabulous place to stay, a little break from the world!! Having ceoliacs disease I have struggled in times at restaurants but coming here I didn't worry at all very attentive staff and beautiful food. The room was amazing!! Have and will recommended and will be back!!!

What a fabulous place to stay!

Our room was clean, cosy with a most comfortable bed. The decor and layout is perfect for this style of hotel. The en suite was well appointed with a lovely selection of toiletries.

The staff are friendly, polite and so attentive whilst remaining professional. They are a real pleasure to deal with.

The food was incredible. On our first night, we had the five course taster menu, with a selection of dishes. Everything was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. Every dish was a delight! They have some very talented staff in that kitchen who should be so proud of what they produce.

All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a new forest break. It’s within easy reach of anywhere in the South and is ideal for that weekend getaway.

Went for lunch with my husband We chose to go for the 3 course set menu the food was lovely all 3 courses were tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive It was nice to see they served a carafe of wine which you don't very often see We had our coffee on the patio and went for a stroll in the gardens after which was lovely.

User

We went for the weekend and had a fantastic time, the rooms and drawing rooms are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and attentive and happy to assist. Great food and the atmosphere is brilliant. Would definitely recommend it and would be back. Tim (owner) was a excellent host.

We went for the 5-course tasting menu, each course we gave 5 out of 5, their 23 year old chef, Ben, has a wonderful way with food! Only one small downside was that on this particular evening they had no ice for our vodka & tonics & our white wine & no port for our after dinner drinknevertheless we will be back

We stayed over Christmas and had a fantastic time. Staff were great, very polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Food was amazing, very tasty. Decor within the hotel is very good. Rooms were very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend, and hope to return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

User

We had a lovely afternoon tea with a Groupon voucher this was lovely and the service was excellent.

Beautifully decorated inside felt very welcome.

Only down side was the price of the wines expensive.

Would thoroughly recommend this place

Visited the New Forrest with my wife and our 12 week old pup Bentley and spent two lovely nights at The Manor at Sway. The room was bright, airy with modern decor and a comfortable bed. The en-suite was smart, sporting a rain shower which performed well.

The public areas were well furnished and the modern theme continued. All areas were very smart.

The grounds were lovely and there was a large patio area to relax on.

The restaurant was again smart and the food was very good indeed, great quality food at a reasonable price. We had breakfast both days and dinner both nights, as well as afternoon tea etc. all were excellent.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the guests we met were all lovely.

The appearance of the building outside does not do the hotel justice! That was the only downside, if you could call that one!

So in short, if you are looking for a good quality hotel, good food, friendly staff and guests in a beautiful part of the world, then book a stay at The Manor at Sway.

Stayed for two nights over the bank holiday and had an amazing stay. Beautiful room, decor modern but tasteful, staff so friendly. Had the taster menu for dinner on the first night and it was outstanding. Will recommend to friends and will be coming back. Thank you - A***.

My wife and I celebrated our 56th Anniversary with afternoon tea at the manor

User

User

Had a fabulous time staying here this weekend! The set lunchtime menu was divine and breakfast was lovely. Lovely service, they even remembered when I emailed an enquiries about afternoon tea & dinner! Cosy, relaxed atmosphere was the setting for a perfect weekend

User

Excellent service from staff polite and friendly, nice garden, peaceful and quiet. Afternoon tea was great, had a lovely day I would recommend this place!

User

4 of us had a lovely few days. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and the food was excellent. A great base to explore the area. We will be back!

User

We had a three course lunch which was lovely. Staff very friendly and attentive. Lovely decor but could have been a little more attention to the little things for example crumbs on the seats in the dining room would have been a 5*. Also the sign out the front is very small and can only be seen from one direction on the road. Need a sign on the building!!!

User

Lovely setting , had a voucher though Groupon for a 3 course meal that seamed good value till you had to purchase a drink or two with your meal so add another £25 . The restaurant had nice decor , the starters of soup was lovely except for the very small piece of hard bread served with it , then our mains , my partner had sea bass that he said was lovely but i had chicken supreme & the chicken was terrible hard & rubbery , both our desserts were lovely. Once telling the waiting staff about my main meal we were then ignored so would we go back again , defiantly not.

User

We had afternoon tea here last weekend and it was pretty poor. The sandwiches were good but unfortunately this is where it stopped. We were given dry, stale cakes that tasted horrible no matter how much frosting they tried to use. We were also asked if we minded losing half our table even though that meant we would end up with not even space for our plates, cups, pot of tea and selection of food which was no means empty. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, in fact I would say avoid this place if possible for afternoon tea.

User

Such a disappointment staying here.

Only good points are that the hotel is very pristine decor wise and the food was lovely.

other than that it was a shambles and would never recommend to anybody. Biggest gripe was the staff! Very rude and very unhelpful with the simplest of things, felt unwelcome from the moment we stepped in the door and their levels of customer service are low. Having worked a hotel reception in sandbanks and stayed in a mass of hotels over the years it’s safe to say we won’t be returning.
