Today we have on tasting a fantastic Seeded Sourdough bread produced locally by the Sussex Kitchen plus to go with it Snowdonia Bouncing Berry cheese.

This Saturday, 19th October, is exactly four weeks since we did Caribbean food so it's that time again !

Caribbean Food Friday is back - seems like we've never been away !
The usual menu Goat (locally sourced from a farm near Herstmonceux), Chicken or Chickpea & Potato with either rice £5.99 or with roti £5.99. Feeling hungry then have it with rice and a plain roti for £2 extra.

Finally another great couple of beers from the Caribbean - Piton brewed in St Lucia and Mackesons Milk Stout brewed in Trinidad. We have been trying to get these for ages so enjoy - just in time for Easter. They might not last long as Kerry and Calixte have been tucking in already !!

Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances there will be no Caribbean food night tomorrow😢😢😢 as chef has had to visit Trinidad.☹️.
We still have plenty of Kim's Hot Pepper Sauce so you can spice up your fish and chips tomorrow instead !!
The next food night will be Friday 26th of April so make sure that date is in your diaries.

This Friday is not the last Friday of the month but it is Carnival Weekend Eve for one of the best Carnival's in the world - Port of Spain Trinidad - shame we can't be there but maybe next year....
So to keep chef happy we will be playing all the 2019 Soca Carnival tunes tomorrow when it's Caribbean food time again.
We are now buying all of our meat from a local butcher with the goat actually from East Sussex. As well as being local it is very good, but don't take our word f...or it come and try some !
