Join us for a weekend full of Gin, Classic cars, live music, BBQ and a Hog roast to boot...
If that sounds like your cup of tea (or G&T) then get yourself down to The Mill House as we reopen our outside bar, The Gin House and launch our new BBQ kitchen...
Friday 24th May
... For sometime now Friday's have been all about Gin at The Mill House and this day is no exception... We will be adding new Gin's to our collection which will be exclusive to our Gin House.
Our BBQ will be fired up for the first time (and then weather permitting every Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday lunch times)... serving quintessentially British summer BBQ fayre and something a little bit different. We promise there will be something for everyone!
Saturday 25th May
We will be joined by Andy Seager and his classic car clan... The end of the garden will be filled with beautiful Pre-War cars for all to enjoy! Alongside this we will be serving a Hog roast from 2pm and of course making full use of our outside bar....
It wouldn't be a true garden party without some music! So to top it all off we will have live music from Vicki Seager.

Andrea from Boutinot will be joining us to talk about all things wine and then we thought we would treat you to some fabulous cheeses from Harvey and Brockless.
Come join us for Edam good night, packed with a Gouda amount of Reds, Whites and Pudding wines to Feta your knowledge of how to pair them with some Brie-lliant cheeses.
We're so excited we can hardly think straight (sorry we ran out of puns!)
... If this sounds like your cup of tea (or indeed vino) then let us know if you fancy popping along. The evening is free to attend but drop us a line so we can get your wine glass at the ready.

One for the kids, big and small – on Easter Monday we will be hosting our charity duck race on the Mill Pond. Join us at the pub from 11am til 3pm to decorate your duck in the barn, ready for the race to start at 3.30pm.
Entrance costs £4 per duck (ducks and decorating implements included) and all proceeds will go to Robbiesrally, a local and very worth while cause.

Bring the kids along to The Mill House Easter Egg Hunt from 1130am to 2.30pm, then let the kids run the chocolate off, rest your weary egg hunting feet over a couple of jars in the bar or a traditional Sunday roast! The egg hunt is free of charge; please RSVP with number of egg hunting children at the pub or via phone or email. Reservations for Sunday lunch in the pub are essential so please let us know if you fancy staying for a bite to eat after.

Calling all foodies and real ale fans - You'll be excited to know we at The Mill House have a Pie and Championship Ale Week coming up...
There will be over a dozen Championship winning Beers available – with up to 6 on the pumps at any one time. In the name of duty, we have carefully tasted our chosen beers, on a number of occasions (purely for quality purposes, of course). Suffice to say we’re happy we’ve chosen some crackers, all deserving their place.
We will have a tasty ...pie menu available a long side our hand pulled delights. From a traditional steak and ale pie to something a little bit sweet.
If you fancy popping a long to sample a pie or two and or a pint or two then why not book a table online or give us a call at the pub on 01256702953.
Look forward to seeing you soon

Went and had a really really good Sunday roast . Starter was nice light and refreshing . Think it was the rabbit Croquette. I think I last came here about 4 years ago and it was really bad . But you can tell just how far the place has come in those 4 years . I could tell it was hand made and cared for . Staff were lovely and friendly and looked after us very well . As for the main . Roast beef was spot on and yorkie was the bomb ! Incredible and so nice to see a proper yorkie pudding done well ! Honestly guys , well done and keep up the hard work . Lovely place . We will be back with more people next time x

We had a lovely meal, it was very busy due to the fantastic weather, but that was to be expected and so we had a few more drinks I the garden so no problem. The staff are great but first time I have ever been asked to queue for a bar!!!

We drive 70 miles from the Dorset coast to meet our family for special occasions. On Mother's day 8 of us enjoyed good service and food but yesterday on Father's day the wait for food was very slow and it took over 4 hours to complete our meal.
