Our 18th century Yorkshire stone barn with open timber beams, original stone walls, modern decor and beautifully planted garden is a most unique setting for any kind of celebration. Our function room has a large gallery staircase and an integrated dance floor together with lighting and sound equipment. Whatever the event you can be sure your guests will have the party of their lives at The Old Barn. We pride ourselves on being unique and versatile with food and service you will be delighted with.

Yesterday we had our sons christening party at The Old Barn, couldn’t fault a thing! Everything was perfect! The food was delicious, the staff were kind and courteous and the upstairs was set up perfectly!!! I’ve been here loads of times photographing weddings, having a meal or smashing some golf balls on the driving range, every visit is just a joy!
I would highly recommend The Old Barn for any kind of event you have in mind!
Went here for a Sunday carvery today and WOW! If Carlsberg did carverys then this would be it! One of the best I've had, big fluffy Yorkshire puds, the gravy was thick and meaty, roasties to die for and a really good selection of veggies cooked to perfection! Curtious staff, great service and a lovely dark glass of Merlot, just what I wanted on a showery autumn day! If you only have one carvery this year make sure it's this one! We went for afternoon tea yesterday. The venue was fantastic with beautiful surroundings. We were asked if we would prefer to sit outside due to lovely weather. Our afternoon tea had already been prepared for us but staff were extremely accommodating. The waitress was very pleasant and made sure everything was perfect. I ate everything, which I must say was a very generous portion and excellent value for money. Will definitely be spreading the word as we really enjoyed our afternoon here. We loved our wedding reception at The Old Barn - the venue and staff are superb. Meeting with Diane made all the planning easy and enjoyable, and everything on the day ran very smoothly! All of our guests commented on how lovely the food was (we had the bbq). The venue was exactly what I wanted, lovely outside spaces and beautifully decorated. If you're looking for a unique wedding venue, then I thoroughly recommend The Old Barn. We also used their DJ and he was fab.

The food was amazing we had vintage afternoon tea & everyone commented on how nice it was & different. The venue it’s self look beautiful & again people commented on how amazing it looked. I would just like to say a massive thank you to Diane & all the staff working that day nothing was too much. We had a fantastic evening dancing the night away with Alex who was a great DJ & had everyone up dancing everyone said how good the music was. We got married here 27th August and literally it was the best day of our lives. Diane and Naomi are so helpful and literally couldn't do enough for us. Everything we wanted or needed they were there and always on the ball, we couldn't have asked for more. They made our day so special and unforgettable and I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. If I could give more stars I would. My husband and I had our wedding here yesterday, and the whole process from start to finish has been SO easy. The staff do everything for you right down to setting up the rooms.
We had lots of meetings so we knew exactly what was happening, were given so many choices but were also told what "usually" happens in case we were unsure.
Nothing was too much, there were no rules, and Diane and her team worked so hard and our day was PERFECT.
Diane was extremely friendly, as were all the staff, and they worked so hard the entire day. We appreciate you all so so much and will definitely be recommending the old barn to everyone we know!!

Had a lovely afternoon tea here yesterday. It was different to any others I’ve had in that there was a fair bit of savoury stuff; the chicken chasseur was delicious. We weren’t keen on the potato salad dish though. I’ll definitely be going back!

My Son and Daughter In-Law had their reception here and it was absolutely fantastic, Naomi had everything organised and it went like clockwork.
The food was piping hot and delicious, the staff were fantastic no long queues at the bars, nothing was too much trouble for anyone, I can highly recommend The Old Barn if your looking for somewhere to have your wedding reception 10/10 from me and well done to everyone at the Old Barn ÔøΩ
If I could give more stars I would. My husband and I had our wedding here yesterday, and the whole process from start to finish has been SO easy. The staff do everything for you right down to setting up the rooms.
We had lots of meetings so we knew exactly what was happening, were given so many choices but were also told what "usually" happens in case we were unsure.
Nothing was too much, there were no rules, and Diane and her team worked so hard and our day was PERFECT.
Diane was extremely friendly, as were all the staff, and they worked so hard the entire day. We appreciate you all so so much and will definitely be recommending the old barn to everyone we know!!
Had our wedding yesterday 09.06.18 and what an fantastic day we had. The venue and all the staff were great and everything went as planned. Had our wedding at the old barn yesterday 16/7/2017 Stephen and Stacey Butler ,the service was fantastic ,every detail was perfect our wedding day went to perfection thanks to Diane and Naomi and all the other members of staff working there ,they made our day one that we will treasure for the rest of our lives and we cant thank you all enough for our very special day and the venue was perfect ,the food was perfect and the staff carried out a rolls Royce service yesterday and they are great team of people. me and Stacey would like to thank all so much ,Steve and Stacey
Had a lovely afternoon tea here yesterday. It was different to any others I’ve had in that there was a fair bit of savoury stuff; the chicken chasseur was delicious. We weren’t keen on the potato salad dish though. I’ll definitely be going back!
