There's nothing better than a day at the beach during HalfTerm. Dig out the buckets, spades & ball games & have some fun with your family on Camber's golden sands. Drop in and see us for a delicious homecooked lunch or evening meal.

Whilst our greys were a bit naughty insisting on sitting where they shouldn't, the staff were not phased. The food was awesome - we had the owl burger (made from beef, not owls😂) and there were plenty of fries... Highly recommended for food, as well as a rare location for dogs to be welcomed...

Welcoming staff, delicious food, good selection of beer. Very welcoming to our dog. Glad we went in for lunch, lovely place!

We visited this pub a number of times while on holiday. The food was amazing and the seafood out of this world. The real ale was excellent and the staff the friendliest I have encountered. To top it all the pub was dog friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back.

We visited over the weekend for food and drinks , food was great and Madeleine and Peter were fab hosts , will deffo be booking our room lol x

Was up visiting mum and dad for the weekend from Portsmouth thought we would treat them to dinner fantastic food all four of us cleared our plates .. highly recommend to people ..lovely warm welcome choice of table and open fire warm and welcoming ..

Visited with my husband, two daughters and dog today for the first time. Lovely place to visit after a walk on the beach. Friendly staff and fantastic food. Will absolutely be visiting again!

The Owl at Camber is such a fantastic Inn, which for the past 5 days has been our number one venue. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The food is just outstandingly perfect; salads, burgers and fresh fish tried so far, just brilliant. Well done Owl Camber. Best Regards.

Lovely impromptu night away at The Owl. Loved the fact we could take the dog too. The staff were great and make dogs feel just as welcome. Great food and staff very attentive will definitely be going back.

It was super good , lovely delicious food, and vegetarian nut roast was the best I’ve eaten, cool beachy elegant decor , staff very nice and friendly

I loved it, my husband loved it and the dog would of loved the food just as much as us if we had off shared! Well worth the walk along the road from the sands.

I came here Sunday just gone for lunch with my husband and our 21 month old daughter, we loved everything about this pub the staff were fabulous and made us feel like we'd been going there for years the locals we met were lovely and very kind to my daughter who was having a bit of a tantrum (she fell in love with the puppy inside) the food was amazing , I've worked on the pub trade for over 10 years and I've never felt such a lovely atmosphere as I did here, thank you all for looking after us !! We will be back when we're next in The area x

We came here Sunday for a couple of drinks and brunch and loved it.



We had 3 Platters (one fish, one meat, one cheese) between three of us that was beautifully presented on a slate with a very nice selection all round, we also ordered a childs fish and chips and a sirloin steak was.

The food bill was a tad over £70. We came for a birthday brunch so it was worth splashing out on this occassion and over indulging :-)



The Owl in general is a lovely place for a pint or two and we’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere and good service each time we visit.

Always a warm fire (well in winter!), cool drinks and hot food. Great music nights too! 😎what more could you want? Oh yeah how about the best beach on the south coast outside your door? Yup, got that too.

All staff were unbelievably accomodating and helpful to our every need. Food is outstanding that you can smell the freshness. Everything wonderfully presented. Popped in there randomly on a Friday eve for a spot of dinner and did not want to leave.....booked then and there again for Sunday roast and was not disappointed.

We were made to feel like one of the regulars and were constantly catered too but at the right times throughout our visit. If you ever go to Camber you have GOT TO visit The Owl.

A brilliant find, recommended to us for a family meal plus our dog.
