We think our golf course is fantastic. But dont just take our word for it.

Is there anything better than The Open to get you in the spirit for some golf? It was a fantastic weeks competition with Tiger getting the hopes of millions up. However, to his credit Molinari was phenomenal and deserved to be the first ever Italian winner of the Claret Jug. Bravo Francesco!

User

We played golf, so didn't use the spa. Had a generous sandwich pre-golf in the golf bar. Enjoyed the course although long and conditions windy but dry! It is in good condition. After golf we went to the hotel bar to have a bar snack. Excellent service from the lone barman, eight of us ordering food and drink but he kept his cool. Lovely main size starters arrived, fresh green leaves on the plates. We were minus 1 dish but an apology and was delivered soon. Will be back soon!

User

We enjoyed our two day here, the room was very comfortable, the SPA was great and the golf course was excellent and challenging and the staff were very friendly, also the breakfast was good as well.

User

Stunning venue and course. Very helpful & friendly pro shop staff.. Immaculate course. Credit to the greenkeepers, couldn’t fault it. Stunning from Tee to Green!! I’ll be back..

User

Perfect rooms, perfect room service/ food and perfect place for views. Looking to book our wedding here, was greeted by fantastic staff.

User

Fantastic course, great facilities. Really like it here. Food is a little pricy but hey ho!

User

Excellent golf course and facilities and so green for the time of year. Them sausage rolls in the half way hut are bloody good. Every holes a challenge with the one of the best finishes in golf going

Came for an overnight stay with afternoon tea for my daughter's birthday. When booked I was asked if we were coming for an occasion and they kindly decorated the bedroom with birthday banners and then presented her with a birthday dessert which was totally unexpected and my daughter was very embarrassed but really loved it. The afternoon tea was lovely and the spa was very relaxing. The only criticism is the water machine in the spa was very dirty and the Jacuzzi was broken. We felt that the main meals were very over priced for what they were. Other than that a fabulous overnight stay and we would definitely cone again. Thank you

User

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Not a single bad hole on the course. Club house is one of the best I’ve ever set foot in and the welcome and food outstanding.

User

Went for a spa break there was so lovely had a relaxing massage and the therapist was so nice and made it so relaxing. Our room also got upgraded when we checked in and it was an amazing room with great views and most comfortable bed ! Had dinner and breakfast there as well would defo go again

User

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was clean and friendly. Our room was comfortable and contained everything we needed. The only downsides were the view we had wasn’t of much more than the stairs to and from the car park and some of the furniture could do with being replaced or refinished.

The spa was very nice, we were seen on time and the staff working there were very friendly.

User

We booked the Oxfordshire for a spa/golf break. The hotel itself is really nice, with lovely rooms. The rooms have big comfy beds, spotlessly clean bathrooms and everything you would need. The afternoon tea was delicious and really great service. The golf course was also fantastic. Restaurant food fab and again great service throughout.

The spa was ok, it is basic but fine all the same. Our treatments were only 20 mins when advertised as 30 and felt very rushed. I would have been disappointed if I came just for the spa and feel that let the stay down slightly.

However, the reception staff were wonderful! Loralie in particular was so helpful, friendly and kind and went out of her way to make our stay great. Thanks so much! Would totally recommend overall. Thank you

User

The course was in stunning condition except for the bunker they all looked like they hadn’t been raked in about 3 weeks, have to say had a great welcome at the pro shop, helpful happy pro will play again

User

Myself and my friend visited the Spa and had a Spa day, we arrived and as their wasn't any follow up from e mails that had been sent, on the treatments that we arranged, the staff Nick was very supportive and helpful to sort out the problem, he went the extra mile to help me enjoy the day and arrange our treatments together which a previous staff member should of done. The treatments were out of this world relaxing, friendly, and amazing, we had the buffet meal for £12.00ahead as much as you can eat great choice, and fresh food, after we spent the rest of the day in the pool, spa, sanua, etc, which was very nice until 3.30pm when they have kids in for swimming lessons, I didn't see this on the website but just letting you know that it spoilt the enthous and relaxation and disappointmented this wasn't mentioned when you book, so my recommendation would be that you book earlier for your treatments so you can enjoy your day before the kids come in the pool and ruin your day. Otherwise it was great!

User

Been here several times and keep coming back. It's clean and the facilities are good. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

User

I had been given a gift for my birthday to have afternoon tea so we booked in for today we were shown where to go when we sat down we were offered tea or coffee the drinks were brought to our table within a few minutes we then waited around 15 - 20 minutes we were told they were been made when we started to eat we were asked if everything was ok at that point everything was but because we had waited so long for the sandwiches we had nearly drank our tea and we never saw anyone after that to ask for more tea and the sandwiches the bread was very dry when they were made they were not covered not the best experience for afternoon tea

User

After a stressful few months my friend and i decided to have a spa day here yesterday, which certainly did the trick despite a few things. The most dissapointing part of the day was lunch, the food was extremely basic and soulless, much like the atmosphere in the restaraunt. An afternoon tea would have been much easier to prepare and would have gone down a treat. Not having to pay £12 for a glass of prosecco EACH would have also been appreciated after paying £89 to be there 😂 However, we both felt the staff at the oxfordshire were all extremely friendly, professional and improved the experience. The girls in the spa should be commended for their brilliant treatments and lovely natures! With those couple of things ironed out we would love to come again to unwind for the day.

User

Arrived at entrance to a overloaded ashtray with 5 empty cigarette packets on the wall next to it which immediately made me feel let down. Before booking in for afternoon tea I visited the bathroom and found the bin inside the toilet was overflowing and paper had fallen onto the floor. The sink was disgusting and opted to use my own hand sanitiser instead. After being seated we asked for a drink from the bar which took over 10 minutes as the young man on duty had to go and find another member of staff to help him. When the wine arrived it was awful and the glass was dirty so it was returned. Afternoon Tea itself was good but the experience was awful. Too many staff standing in corridors chatting which is a shame a we were there hoping to agree this was going to be a venue for a Christmas Party.

User

not happy at all.. i complained about the room being too noisy around 5 am with at least 3 lorry which i even send video of and didnt even get the reply back . .

User

Very poor afternoon tea room too hot scones too hard sandwiches poor and cakes very poor,
