The Painted Pearl is an award winning, small, local business set up in 2013.

Our showroom and workshop is in Tankerton, near Whitstable where we create exciting furniture in eclectic stylesfrom shabby chic, country, retro, rustic or contemporary. We also run furniture painting workshops, lampshade making workshops, supply lampshade making kits and are now proud Star Dealers of the fabulous Autentico Chalk Paint and its growing range of superior creative painting supplies.

You can commission us to create bespoke lampshades, standard lamps or to paint your own furniture for you. Wealso offer a kitchen painting service.

A "How to start your own furniture painting business" course which includes all training and a starter kit of materials is in development and I am taking names for a pilot programme.
