Group shot on the final day. #radski #mavicair #dji
I think that Mr Lambert realised that perhaps he should stick to riding the piste, rather than riding the rails and boxes! #radski
We are back in the UK. Quick stop for breakfast and then back on the road. Expected time to be back at school is 12:30pm.
As we are entering the school site via Christchurch Grove, please can parents driving please allow room for the coach and not park in the road leading up to the gates.
There will be a slight delay getting the students off the coach as we will be saying thank you to the drivers and then assisting them in cleaning the coach.
The last meal at the Hotel and we are off. The snow is melting and the rivers are flowing as we travel along the Austrian roads. The Year 9 boys are singing a medley of Justin Bieber at the back of the coach, which is a surprising choice particularly for the Facebook superstar T Pot.
Mr Lambert finished the week with his version of an Austrian mixed grill to help get him through the long journey. We are all looking forward to getting home after an amazing week. #Radski
A few photos from around the resort today with spectacular views and sunshine all day. The students worked hard and the instructors couldn’t speak any more highly of the students at the presentation evening tonight. You will be pleased to see that Mr Lambert has been enjoying the chocolate and banana dessert tonight #radski
The moment that the occupants of Room 16 were told we had managed to get into the room to get the key!
The moment that the occupants of Room 16 realised they had locked their key in the bedroom, the only key, and might not be skiing today.
Today was ski race day with the different groups going head to head in the brilliant sunshine. Lots of cheering and fun as the students tried their skills on the slalom.
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Jack’s jacket that has a longer journey than the rest of the team. Looking at the weather I think it might be a bit warm! #teapot
Whilst everybody sleeps the Sun rises in the Austrian Alps.
For those fans of Mikes Meals we apologise for the late post. We thought it would be good to show an evening meal from the hotel as all of the students are socialising, without phones, and enjoying the food on offer.
The weather has been amazing, resulting in more sun cream than thermals. A few photos from today across the slopes and in the fun park. All groups have been heading onto both Blue and Red runs working on improving their skills. Lots of new friends are being made as they work together helping each other both on and off the slopes.
Groups moving up the mountain and enjoying the relatively quiet slopes in glorious sunshine. Lots of skills being developed and some amazing skiing.
Mr Southwell will be pleased to see the Year 11 students are still working hard!
Breakfast on day 2. Getting ready for another day on the slopes. You will be pleased to hear that Mr Lambert continues his carb loading in readiness for his Olympic call up.
Great day on the slopes today with lots of snow on the slopes and very few skiers! The students had a great day progressing through different skills and slopes and we are sure there will be a few tired bodies tonight! The sun made its appearance throughout the day with more planned for the rest of the week. Good to see Miss Powell has found a new friend.
Up on the slopes. Instructors arriving and the sun coming out!
Mr Lambert carb loading for the day.
