We went yesterday Easter Sunday, great food and lovely friendly staff, good service all around

We went yesterday 21 April 2018. We booked for 5 pm. We arrived a bit early but glad to say the table was ready. The food was superb and OMG their chips are amazing, in fact the best chips I've ever eaten in any Restaurant. The service was also excellent. We been a couple of times there now, great place. Sadly they don't take bookings for large parties as we wanted a family meal for 15 people. But I'm still happy to go there for lovely food.

We visit often as it is a 10 minute walk. It is cosy and the staff are very welcoming. The food is very good. We spent New Year's Eve there with friends and the 5 course meal and entertainment were excellent.

We had a very pleasant evening. Good food, good company and good service. Well done to the staff including the chef who cooked the food to order and presented it nicely�

We are very frequent customers. The food is always great and the staff are always amazing! They are exceptionally dog friendly and our pooch is always catered for. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Nice friendly pub food was lovely prices are very good staff are very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend this pub

My mum just celebrated her birthday here, always her first choice, and as a party of four, we all had something different, and all totally enjoyed what we had, delicious infact, and the puddings we all had , wich again were all different, were also absolutly scrummy too, very nice resteraunt, good value and freindly staff, totaly enjoyed the evening, we have also visited with my grandson for a meal with the family , great to see children welcome and a fab choice on the childs menu x

Just had lunch with my Hubby & Mum , food was exceptional, as usual, & nothing was too much trouble for the Waitresses , definately worth a visit

I had a brilliant time here on my birthday. The decorated the table, wrote my card and I received a small bottle of prosecco. Great staff and I would definitely come back again. This place never fails to disappoint!

Aside from the lovely food and great service we experienced here we were pleasantly surprised with a little gift from the staff when they learned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary..,.2 X bottles of Prosecco and a lovely card.

After a full day at Legoland we called here with two hungry girls, lovely food friendly staff and a great choice of vegetarian dishes. Would definitely use again if we ever go that way 5*

Went last night and the three of us enjoyed a drink and catch up before getting a table as we had not booked.

The food was good and the service was excellent. I have been there for many occasions- even for my sons 21st at his request

Quick service, as hadn't booked a table. Food is good but feel the three meat roast was over priced, to be honest I've had the same sort of meal in a Toby carvery for a lot less with more of a choice, we had to ask for more gravy. Roast potatoes were not crispy. Would come again but try something else from the menu.

First time I ever been there

The main course was a little over cooked ie the chicken

& the Dessert was a little over priced considering a small portion,

3 adults, 11 and 3 year old all had a delicious lunch today. Gourmet burger and triple fried chips were delicious and very hot. Cajun chicken burger yum. My friends game pie was huge and she had sweet potato fries. My 11 year old had an adults lasagne and garlic bread. No room for pud and a well needed walk in Burnham Beeches afterwards. We were the 1st in and Tara was very attentive, friendly and great with the Children. Liked the decor too and will definitely return when back in the area.

We went for lunch yesterday was fairly busy and waited 40 minutes for our food nothing special or difficult, quite annoyed that two tables that arrived after us (15 minutes) got their food before us ! I believe they must of mislaid our order for a while with no explanation as why took so long, however I will say my fish and chips was really good but not sure if would go back because of the poor service.
