Fully Licensed Bar, Bed & Breakfast, Large Restaurant and Function Room located in a lovely friendly and welcoming village of Carmel, just off the M4.

In 2015, The Stag & Pheasant Inn underwent a vast interior renovation throughout when new owners Rhys Thomas, Joanna Morgan and Family took over the establishment. The aim, to carry on the traditional pub feeling of comfort and warmness within the building, where the pub is inviting to all members of the public.
The Stag is situated in a lovely village called Carmel, just off the M4, local to Crosshands, Llanelli, Llandeilo and Carmarthen. We are ideally located close to the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Gelli Aur Country Park, Dinefwr Park, Carreg Cennen Castle, Dinefwr Castle and many more site seeing locations with plenty of cycling tracks including Brechfa, Crychan Forest and Cwm Rhaeadr.
This is an ideal place to visit for a relaxing weekend getaway in our 4 recently renovated B& B rooms, all en-suite with 32" Free View TV's, or a night out, a tasty and filling meal in our 80 seater restaurant, or to attend a venue held in our large function room.
