Come and Meet the crew and see what life was like with the US Navy from the 1940s through to the 60s, have a tour over P22 and join in the experience. P22 is open every weekend during the summer and once a month the living history display comes to life. So why not come down to the quayside in Sandwich , bring a picnic or visit one of the many food outlets and make a day of it. If you want to prebook a tour for six people so you have the boat to yourself please contact us and make an enquiry there is a small charge for this private tour , otherwise normal tours are available throughout the opening times and we just ask if possible for a donation to the P22 charity which helps to keep her afloat.

Chief T's Report Another good weekend down at the quay on P22, Saturday was a bit on the blustery side , but we still had a steady flow of public coming aboard to look around. Saturday evening I was invited to go along to a Trustees meeting and put across some ideas and plans on how the LHDT (Living History Display Team), can help to bring P22 to life and raise some much needed funds, it was a very positive meeting and some information will appear in the near Future on the ou...tcomes, I was also given the honour of joining the committee, and responsibility of co ordinating all the Volunteers and so will be a voice for you the all. Sunday was a little damp, but there was an excellent turn out from the crew and along with the usual gang we had some fresh faces, welcome to Pete, Chris, Matt and Nikki. There was still a steady flow of visitors including some international guests , one of which actually served aboard one of P22s sister ships in service with the Belgian Navy, Walter was able to provide us with some great information which we will be able to share with future visitors to the boat. There will be another meet up soon so watch for further dates.
