Went for a meal Sunday 4th of Feb had a fantastic meal for 4 of us staff were fantastic very help full and always ready to help Darren our waiter was fantastic and patient as the party was mainly elderly over 85 plus .we had a great time . Thank you to all the staff

There for a friends birthday meal...and go to this restaurant very regularly so much so when we arrive now the staff don’t even ask my name!!! as always brilliant meal balloons included on the table! and great friendly happy efficient staff 😊 thanx again Carl Fatima Darren Helene and all waitresses waiters who’s names escape me at present!

Really lovely food, and fast efficient and friendly service. Loved it. Mind you we coming back for more, so must be good. Liked the new menu too. My son loved the new Lobster topped burger, scrummy.(I had to have a quick taste, just to make sure it was ok!!!)

Excellent meal tonight. Service was amazing and the waitress was very helpful and nothing was to much trouble.

We were a large party but I must admit the food we ordered was brought out fairly quick and was of good quality the staff were very good.

We always go to the Warden for our special occasions. Wait time for food was a little longer than normal but, restaurant was very busy. Fatima, our waitress, was brilliant as usual! Very attentive and friendly. Thanks for another brilliant evening Team Warden

Very busy place.would recommend to book even at lunch time. Lunch time menu was reasonably priced. Evening meals look expensive. Staff very friendly and was nice and clean.

This time was very good , no issues with the food and Darren our waiter is the best , always there just when you need him with everything

The wife and i took advantage of being child free after Christmas. We waited briefly at the entrance to be seated. The lady Allison who showed us to our table was very warming and welcoming. Our table waitress was very attentive and ensured that our time spent in in the restaurant was an enjoyable experience. Our food was perfectly cooked and arrived at our table promptly. As the restaurant filled for lunch our waitress was still attentive as she was when we first arrived even with the restaurant at what appeared to be full capacity. Good food, good service and reasonably priced. Thanks team warden.

Nice location, I was disappointed with vegetable luinguine, the red peppers and green beans tasted like they had come out of can, not fresh. I like that they cook in an open plan kitchen, for transparency for patrons, unclear what they keep heating in the microwave? Nice location for a family get together.

Had a Sunday dinner out with my brother and mum the lady that served us was ever so friendly any thing we wanted wasn't to much for her lovely women we had a starter very nice indeed then for main cause we had a lamb sunday dinner it was nice but not the best i have had so that's why i given it 4 out of 5

Went there for lunch with my partner on his day off, service from the woman behind the bar was less than friendly and welcoming. No smile no please or thank you when asking for cash and giving change. Food came out not exactly hot, Steak with triple cooked chips and a side salad was served without the side salad therefore having to ask for it.

Double burger with chips and slaw came as a single burger therefore having to be sent back while another burger was cooked leaving my partner to sit without his food while I started mine. Unfortunately sat in the bar to eat and the waiting service was as good as the bar service. Been here numerous times before and it has been lovely but sat in the restaurant side where there's much better service, smiley and friendly staff that are all too happy to help. On top of everything else the Guiness didn't tate right, both ales weren't drinkable and the Coors Light tasted off.

We were seated and asked immediately about ordering drinks which we did. As we were going for a girlie catch up we were in no rush to order our food. Staff were friendly and came back later to take our order. Food was nice but personally I think it is well over priced for what it is. We only went as we had 40% off mains voucher. Large glass of wine was over £7 which I think is well over priced. After we had ordered and received our food there were never any staff around to order coffees so my friend had to go to the bar and hang around until a member of staff appeared. In my opinion there are never enough staff working there.

We go here quite regularly (approx every 4-6 weeks) and this is the first time that we have been so disappointed in our visit. Our server was Daniel L and to be honest he obviously didn't want to be there that evening. Maybe he'd had a bad day, but there is no excuse for bad service. Wherever we work we all have to plaster a smile on our faces sometimes, even if we don't feel like it. Daniel couldn't even raise a smile, he didn't look in our faces when talking to us and seemed to be much more interested to spend his time in front of the computer inputting (or not), rather than serving his customers.



It took much longer than normal to take our order, the mains took longer to arrive, we weren't asked if our meals were OK and it took THREE attempts to order a beer and TWO attempts to order a glass of water. My husband ordered his second beer when his mains arrived, along with an additional bowl of chips. Neither chips nor beer arrived (he wanted the beer and chips for his main course). He then asked again for the beer (along with a glass of water for me). Neither arrived. He then had to get up and actually go and see another member of staff to order the drinks AGAIN. When they did eventually come he didn't even get an apology.



Daniel didn't scan his tables when he was serving others. He kept his eyes dead straight, to avoid eye contact. We had to wait ages to be asked what we wanted for dessert and my husband had to get up and ask for someone to take our dessert order, although these did arrive pretty quickly. Again, asking for the bill was another trial. To be honest I couldn't wait to get out of there. I did consider asking to see the Duty Manager but he seemed to have disappeared as well!

I only had a starter which was nice but very small cos I was feeling poorly , but went cos I didn't want to let mum down on her special day..though staff apologised and didn't have to pay.. Won't be going again, unless they up their game.

Visited the warden yesterday for lunch, not impressed, waited quite a while for starters, we had 3 different waitresses, then a waiter who we asked for a glass of rose wine, waited 10 minutes for a waitress return with a bottle of rose and lemonade, then had to wait 10 minutes for the bill which was extremely expensive, will not be visiting again for some time.

Me and partner and mum for her 80th went for a surprise for mum birthday, mum ordered fish and chips ..no peas no tartare sauce pls......came with it????

Partner sent sirloin steak back twice as tough and second time ordered medium , came out rare, so went without food, cold chips, not enough for thee price... The wife and i took advantage of being child free after Christmas. We waited briefly at the entrance to be seated. The lady Allison who showed us to our table was very warming and welcoming. Our table waitress was very attentive and ensured that our time spent in in the restaurant was an enjoyable experience. Our food was perfectly cooked and arrived at our table promptly. As the restaurant filled for lunch our waitress was still attentive as she was when we first arrived even with the restaurant at what appeared to be full capacity. Good food, good service and reasonably priced. Thanks team warden.

Nice location, I was disappointed with vegetable luinguine, the red peppers and green beans tasted like they had come out of can, not fresh. I like that they cook in an open plan kitchen, for transparency for patrons, unclear what they keep heating in the microwave? Nice location for a family get together.

I had an excellent meal and as usual excellent service too thanks this time to Darren who couldn’t have been more helpful.

Had a Sunday dinner out with my brother and mum the lady that served us was ever so friendly any thing we wanted wasn't to much for her lovely women we had a starter very nice indeed then for main cause we had a lamb sunday dinner it was nice but not the best i have had so that's why i given it 4 out of 5

Wherever we work we all have to plaster a smile on our faces sometimes, even if we don't feel like it. Daniel couldn't even raise a smile, he didn't look in our faces when talking to us and seemed to be much more interested to spend his time in front of the computer inputting (or not), rather than serving his customers.



It took much longer than normal to take our order, the mains took longer to arrive, we weren't asked if our meals were OK and it took THREE attempts to order a beer and TWO attempts to order a glass of water. My husband ordered his second beer when his mains arrived, along with an additional bowl of chips. Neither chips nor beer arrived (he wanted the beer and chips for his main course). He then asked again for the beer (along with a glass of water for me). Neither arrived. He then had to get up and actually go and see another member of staff to order the drinks AGAIN. When they did eventually come he didn't even get an apology.



Daniel didn't scan his tables when he was serving others. He kept his eyes dead straight, to avoid eye contact. We had to wait ages to be asked what we wanted for dessert and my husband had to get up and ask for someone to take our dessert order, although these did arrive pretty quickly. Again, asking for the bill was another trial. To be honest I couldn't wait to get out of there. I did consider asking to see the Duty Manager but he seemed to have disappeared as well!

My husband ordered his second beer when his mains arrived, along with an additional bowl of chips. Neither chips nor beer arrived (he wanted the beer and chips for his main course). He then asked again for the beer (along with a glass of water for me). Neither arrived. He then had to get up and actually go and see another member of staff to order the drinks AGAIN. When they did eventually come he didn't even get an apology.



Daniel didn't scan his tables when he was serving others. He kept his eyes dead straight, to avoid eye contact. We had to wait ages to be asked what we wanted for dessert and my husband had to get up and ask for someone to take our dessert order, although these did arrive pretty quickly. Again, asking for the bill was another trial. To be honest I couldn't wait to get out of there. I did consider asking to see the Duty Manager but he seemed to have disappeared as well!



Very disappointed with this visit, it is not usually how we find this restaurant. The food was nice as usual, but they really need to sort out their staff as it's going to put us off returning.

Visited the warden yesterday for lunch, not impressed, waited quite a while for starters, we had 3 different waitresses, then a waiter who we asked for a glass of rose wine, waited 10 minutes for a waitress return with a bottle of rose and lemonade, then had to wait 10 minutes for the bill which was extremely expensive, will not be visiting again for some time.

Me and partner and mum for her 80th went for a surprise for mum birthday, mum ordered fish and chips ..no peas no tartare sauce pls......came with it????

Partner sent sirloin steak back twice as tough and second time ordered medium , came out rare, so went without food, cold chips, not enough for thee price... I only had a starter which was nice but very small cos I was feeling poorly , but went cos I didn't want to let mum down on her special day..though staff apologised and didn't have to pay.. Won't be going again, unless they up their game.

Had a family party. Food was not good. 3 steaks returned. Horrible waiting staff that actually told us off. £80 knocked off the bill....still my coffee was nice and the kids enjoyed their food.
