How amazing is Simon! Simon is 21 years old and has recently undergone 2 general anaesthetics at our High Halstow Surgery. Simon developed a deformation on the right side of his nose. He was put under general anaesthetic to investigate the cause of the deformation and biopsies were sent to an external laboratory. The results came back as a fungal granuloma and Simon was put under general anaesthetic to remove the mass. Simon went through both general anaesthetics with no pr...oblems what so ever. With the dedication and hard work from the Veterinary Team at the High Halstow Surgery Simon is making a fabulous recovery and the wound is healing very well. Well done Simon and well done High Halstow! 😀

Wet spring months usually mean you'll see a fair few slugs and snails around and they've all got the potential to carry the dangerous lungworm parasite. When your dog rummages through undergrowth, drinks from puddles, eats grass, or generally sniffs around outside; they can end up eating these slugs or snails either accidentally or on purpose. To keep them protected from lungworm call any of our four surgeries today and make sure they are up to date with their flea and worming!

#patientoftheweek It's been a busy start to the new year, so we are a few days late with our patient of the week at Walderslade. We are however delighted to introduce you to Glaze, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling puppy! Glaze's owner took advantage of our January puppy pack special offer at £59, and today came in for his second vaccination. He very much enjoyed the fuss everyone was making of him, and we all look forward to seeing him again. We do advise our clients to bring their puppies in regularly, so their visits become enjoyable experiences, and we love seeing them grow #patientoftheweek
