We very sadly lost another one of our pubs larger than life characters with the passing of Mr Pete Hacking. On Tuesday 19th March our restaurant will be closed during the evening as it's the day we will be saying goodbye. His life will be celebrated here from 4.30pm onward.

Last night saw a first at the Kate 'n' Liz Quiz, a tie break ending! Of the eight teams playing, the Quizzy Rascals and Dog Lovers finished joint first with 78 points. Three tie break questions followed with the Quizzy Rascals winning on the third. Well done to them! It's fair to say they were more than delighted with their win! It was great to welcome new team 'The Oaks' who have already booked their table at next months quiz. We would love more teams to play so what's stopping you from getting a team together?
