Stabilising with a touch of brass powder. Probably over the top but that never stops me.

One of my back burner projects has been to the make a charcoal retort. The plan being to convert my scrap wood to charcoal along with experimenting with different wood species down the line.

Something a bit different in the works.

I recently replaced some fencing for National Trust in West Wycombe Village. You can see from the before images that it had gotten a little tired. Using made to measure materials from Briants of Risborough I got everything looking a lot better. Thanks also to the tenants for trying to drown me in coffee!

One of last week’s jobs was to make some signage for Wycombe Museum for their new sensory garden. Both signs were engraved, hand painted, finishing and installed on site by The Wooden Weasel.

A couple of months ago I had the pleasure of milling and installing this great Cedar bench for Chesham Bois Parish Council at Bricky Pond.

Just what I needed thank you @mobilechippy perfect chips as always and the scraps are epic too!

I have finally made the time to get the wood turning space a bit more functional. Now need to finish the store room and organise my stock.

Another fun project from a couple of weeks ago. Moonwindow trellis from an online supplier which I cut a door in one and mounted on big 12ft posts from Country Supplies
