See the sights, and get some activity that doesn't even feel like exercise. It's a win-win, basically.

Discover American history in the space of a week - it's the Freedom Trail!
A double dose of Philly and Washington D.C will give you your first taste of the USA's Eastern cities. Going off the beaten track, you'll experience a taste of local life in Lancaster, with an Amish community - a fascinating insight into traditional life away from tech and WiFi!
At Niagara Falls, jump aboard the included Maid of the Mist cruise to see the thundering water up close - make sure you pack... your rain coat. And in Boston, you'll walk in the footsteps of American history along the 'Freedom Trail' - we also recommend eating at Quincy Market and taking in a sports game in 'Beantown'.

Sure, you know the landscape from those epic Western movies - but how much do you know about Monument Valley's Navajo tribe?
This 92,000-acre tribal park is home to the USA’s largest Native American tribe, many living in traditional 'hogan' huts and making handicrafts to sell.
Want to see the real Monument Valley? Take a backroads trip to meet the Navajo, and discover this sacred land through their eyes: https://bit.ly/2AmocrI

Wow - where do I start! Just returned from the Mountie trip. At first, when I booked this trip, I was terrified about travelling alone for the first time but it was something that I had to do for myself. There were times when I wanted to cancel due to my worrying but I'm so glad I didn't as it was honestly the best thing I have ever done! This honestly was the best time of my life, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment in Canada and met some incredibly amazing people! They were my Trekfam and still are, we have all kept in touch and I can truly call them lifelong friends. Our tour leader Andrew was absolutely awesome and one of the happiest, most passionate people I have met and he made the tour what it was. He took us to some outstanding places, some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. Canada is truly amazing and I can't wait to go back. None of us wanted to leave by the end and it was so sad saying goodbye as we became such good friends. I'm quite a shy person and was worried I wouldn't fit in but it only took a couple of days to settle and we all clicked and ended up becoming the best of friends. Every day we were up and out early to make the most of the day, we saw so many different places and I think the best of Canada really! The food was great - breakfast and lunch was lovely and every night we took in turns to cook delicious meals. I have never laughed so much! I would recommend this trip to everyone and to use Trekamerica as I will definitely be travelling with them again as it's such a great idea for solo travellers and a great company to use. The whole trip went so smoothly which was great for a first timer so nothing to worry about! We were really lucky with the weather too, only 1 day of rain at Lake Louise. If you're thinking about booking, don't hesitate just go for it, you won't regret it! Thanks Trek for giving me the best trip of my life and for some incredible memories that I will forever cherish!

Perhaps this is a moment of reflection or just me reminiscing as i myself now have children who are slowly adopting the travel bug that I have. I felt it apt to just to say a huge thank you to this fantastic company and team for embedding that feeling of wanderlust in my soul. Back when I was a naïve 20 something

(I´m now nearing 35) I embarked on what can only be described as the road trip of a lifetime with Trek America. We covered the pacific coast highway, Vegas, San Fran, Boston, San Diego, LA etc

in 2 weeks. I made some amazing friends, who to this day I still keep in contact with from all over the world and have memories that have never faded. The trip really started something and gave me a goal…I saved hard and many years later booked a one way ticket to Bangkok. I spent 18 months travelling SE Asia

(Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia), Singapore and Australia. Alone. Me and my backpack! I want to show my kids the aventures you can

have in the great outdoors as your team leader did with my group...S´mores on the BBQ etc. Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy. I learnt a lot about `me´ on that trip with Trek America. I really grew within. Travelling with many different nationalities all as solo travelers stretched my boundaries, forged lifelong Friendships and made me realise that if we all strive to live in a place where we are respectful of each other’s way in life, only the

pursuit of happiness will be our goal. At the start of these adventures I was larger than life. Everything became more intense and less commonplace. Life was vibrant, I was constantly learning. Even after booking the trip with you, friends said I was crazy. Back then solo travel was a little unheard of, but you

know what…I’m not insane, they are! Working long days,

missing out on life, buying into consumerism and engulfed in social media. I was not wrong, I was not irresponsible, I was awakened. Most travel initially to lose themselves; then to simply find themselves. Travel opened my heart and eyes. I learnt more about the world than the newspapers would ever teach me. We

all travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. We travel, in essence, to become young fools again – to slow time down and be taken in. I hope that all those who contemplate booking with TREK AMERICA stop thinking and just

go for it! You will not be disappointed! I can’t wait for my

children to get a little older so I can bring them on one Their family adventures! This will not be the last you see of me and my family on your tours!

Money comes and goes, memories last a

a lifetime. FACT

It was the best trip I have ever been on. My tour leader Jen was so nice and funny and even cooked for us on our last night and my group was just amazing, couldn’t ask for a better group. I did Glaciers and Grizzlies which is a plus tour so we stayed in hotels. They were really nice. Especially Silver Creek Lodge in Canmore. My highlights for activities were White Water Rafting on Kicking Horse river and Eagle Zip Line in Whistler.

I love Lake Moraine as the colour was just amazing. The hiking at Lake Louise was challenging but fun.

I will definitely do another Trek maybe in a year or 2. It was just incredible.
