Not sure what more I could ask for from these 2 boys! They have not had a run since qualifying in January but were great yesterday. Both scored over 70% with Barbarian T winning his arena and Chance T coming a close 2nd in his arena just 1/2 point behind the winner and overall champion. As usual both were steered by our top jockey Amy who along with her teammates got a team 6th place for Towy Valley RC

Our first show of the year after what seems like a very long and wet winter. So with very little preparation we headed off on the 500 mile round trip to BRC Winter Novice Championships at Arena UK. So pleased with all the horses and jockey we came home with 2 individual placings and a team 5th with Towy Valley Riding Club. Barbarian T ended up with 71% in 4th place just 1% behind the winner and Trojans Song who was very vocal in the warm up finished on 68% and 3rd which was less than 0.3% behind the winner. I have never seen a horse so happy to go and jump round a set of fences jumping clear and jockey needing a quick trip to spec savers in 2nd round. Overall a great start to the season

Trojans Song and Amy Pett 10th Novice Silver at Pet Plan Area Festival

Well it was a long but worthwhile weekend away at the BRC DTM Championships. The weekend was even more enjoyable with the comfort of the new lorry with 'living'. So 4 classes and 4 placings with a top jockey who is under rated, riding exceptionally well to be so consistent on all her horses.

Well last minute change of horse so Ted had to do his first Elementry. Won both classes so could not be happier.

Great day at Beacons BD. Amy and Ted won both their tests with scores of 69 & 74%

Good day at Beacons for BD. Both horses needed a run and improved for their second tests. Ted getting 67% in the Novice coming 2nd and Ceaser scoring 70% in the Elementary coming 1st.

Life is full of little stories! Our first Championship of 2017 and first big show for this lttle man for 7 years and first ever away show due to his colic operation. He was a star, perfectly behaved and although unsettled in his test still managed 4th individually. As always thanks to our sponsors.

Well 2016 has been a good year for the Stud. At the beginning of the year we managed to get a few sponsors to come on board and be part of the team. Although we have been down to one jockey for most of the season due to injury the rosettes have continued to come home with the horses and we are lucky enough to have won 3 BRC National Championships on horses bred at the stud. I am guessing Ted 'Trojan's Song' is pleased to be back out competing as today was his second competition back and he won again at the BRC Area 21 Novice Winter Quantifier with a great score over 75%. Amy had 2 other rides all finishing comfortably in the top 10 with scores all over 70%. So all in all a very good day at the office.

Its been a great weekend, I won all 3 of my jumping classes yesterday and then today Amy won all 4 of her dressage classes (always has to do one better than me). But that was not the best bit, after a 3 year break and major colic surgery Ted (Trojan's Song) returned to the ring. So pleased to see him back, hopefully a few more shows for him coming up.
