Won 4 VIP tickets on our local radio so booked for last night.. my 11 year old daughter thought she'd be the bravest out of all of us as she's watched YouTube videos and "knew it all" we did the colony first.. she came out crying so didn't do anymore! Didn't spoil it for us though.. did all the other haunts which were brilliant and staff were amazing keeping her entertained while she waited at the exit of each haunt! We even had escorts from the 3 zombie soldiers to chop shop who were great fun. Will definitely go again and pay for fast track to avoid the queues.. looking forward to the new 9th haunt next year :)

This will be the 4th year in a row we have gone and I honestly can not wait until we go on Halloween! The Hayride has got to be my favourite haunt!! Roll on Shocktober 2018!!!!

The best Halloween themed experience ever! Really well thought through and amazing amount of props and actors! The kids and mums had a fab time! Can't wait to try the adult version at night time! Will go back ever year for sure!

Such a good park. The attractions were so good bit would recommend doing fast pass as there is no way you would be able to do the 9 in one night. Food stalls and live bands were good and tarot card reader defo recommend. Will be coming every year now!

Really enjoyed my first time here. Completely deserving of its awards. The mazes are well designed, beautifully themed, long, and all have brilliant team of actors.

A well run event. All staff we encountered gave excellent customer service.



THIS PLACE GETS BUSY. EARLY. So get here for opening. We didn't manage all the mazes, but that didn't take away from our enjoyment or vfm.



These guys know what they're doing and have pooped all over Thorpe's Fright Nights.

Okay, it was a bit hard to find being in the middle of the sticks (we drove up from Eastbourne) but Google got us there. Only thing that was confusing was that it mentioned the park closing at 6pm. I took that to be you could not arrive later than.... we got there 2mins to 6pm and it was fine! By then I was quite stressed out as I worried I was about to ruin my grandson's birthday treat. Perhaps the 5pm or 6pm guidelines were meant for day visitors but I misconstrued it. Just to let you know.

Anyway, all forgotten once you get in there and the fun begins. It is a wonderful mixture of spookyness and creepy characters and vampireish ghouls etc. Such good fun and great to see them make it so entertaining. All round good vibe with lots of screams lol

We loved the paintballing, appleshooting, weird dark ride where you were suddenly totally left to feel your way through tunnels (quite scary for kids) A chainsaw massacre of some kind and, god knows what else, we saw so much! Music was great, plenty of food to choose from. My only regret was no spirits available and wine makes me quite tired. A cold long dark rum and coke would have given this 60 year old grandmother a nice little kick! But no probs and we only saw just over half so well worth going back. Bring plenty of cash as they are festival prices so....... but one shop at least did cashback so that was helpful. Staff all round very kind and helpful.

I advice anyone to go and have a great day or night out. It is so worth it! Fantasy family time with some awesome rides for the brave ones! They have created a very relaxing, friendly and happy atmosphere. Smiles everywhere you looked..... bar the ghosts and decayed heads of course!

Ps We had fast tickets which meant no waiting around so during busy hols probably worth it if you can afford It! I think my son is already thinking hmmmm........next year I'm going with my lot! We will be back......

I really enjoyed the telly Farm experience Scarefest what they do by the way it was really cool and really good and it gave me a lot of jumps if you like jump starters and stuff and really weird noises as well I've been they have the right amount actors in areas by the way and thanks loved it to bits

I been to a few different Halloween scare theme events now and this is by far the BEST one! So many live actors and so much effort had gone into each and every haunt. The Colony was brilliant!

My only complaint is that there’s not enough time to do everything! Luckily we went on a quiet rainy night so managed to get round all 9 haunts but not enough time to appreciate the live bands and other things available around the place.

Will be back next year and probably fast pass it. Good value for money and really well organised.

Had a great day with the kids. They said it was the best day out they had in ages. Get dressed up to make the most of the fun!

First time I have been to Shoctober and I loved it...great atmosphere, really friendly staff. It was scarey but funny too. Not sure about the circus though � x

Fantastic evening on Halloween. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the actors' makeup was amazing! Ended up going through a few of the mazes as a pair towards the end of the night and the actors didn't give up. They made it even better and all the focus was on us (resulting in us hugging walls!) Such a great scare event with a wide range of food stalls and live entertainment. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone (except people who suffer from claustrophobia, epilepsy, have a heart condition or are pregnant �)

Awesomely Fun Night Out! I rode almost all the scare mazes (the only 2 I didn't do were Vixi and The Cellar). The Hollywood haunted hayride was scary, funny and fun and had a great retro-horror vibe. The Creepy cottage was really good with the Victorian setting and spiritualist themes. The Circus of Horrors show was really fun and great to watch! The Colony: Dystopia was an epic and terrifying journey through a town of tribal post-apocalyptic survivors. Twisted Clowns 3D was a lot of fun and played around with your idea of space and dimensions. The Coven of 13 was also really good with theme of witchcraft and execution. The Chop Shop was great with it's crazy garage setting! The midway games were also fun and I love the Joker Ride. The food and drink like the donuts and tea was excellent! I can't wait to visit again next year!

Another fantastic year at Tulleys Shocktoberfest certainly not a dull night out. Fantastic effort goes into a great spooky night out brilliant interactive mazes the actors certainly give you a fright ....not for the faint hearted. Definitely recommend it for a night out

Amazing night. Soo much fun. Will definitely be going again. Everyone is soo polite. Prices are good. Actors are brilliant. If i could get the time off work i would love to work there. Such a great atmosphere

Absolutely fantastic. Managed to get round all 9 haunts without a fast track and plenty of other things to do around the park. I'll definitely be coming back next year!

Absolutely brilliant time last night. The Colony was amazing and so was the Hayride. Everyone really put in 110% on their acting.

Had a really great night. Fireworks were awesome but could’ve done with a few more staff to direct on the way in/out. I enjoyed most of the haunts especially the 3D clowns .. the chop shop was a bit disappointing (after a while another chainsaw just got boring. rather than scarey it was just a bit annoying and loud). I would’ve given more stars as it was great but I felt £106 for us both was a bit steep and not really worth it. The fast track was good when really busy but towards the end the fast track queues were longer than non fast track!! That said we did fit all haunts in which may not have done without. Also didn’t see many street actors and NO entertainers in the queues. Overall though we had a really good time.



Wouldn’t necessarily come next year though as I feel once is enough and it could get a bit samey after a while.
