We are working alongside our client, a 120 room hotel situated on in the beautiful Guernsey Islands in the search for two bar staff.
Working in a busy restaurant and pub, you will be required to make basic cocktails, serve drinks and help to provide the residents with a great experience.
This is a seasonal based role, with a view to a possible permenent offer at the end of what is set to be an extremely busy summer in the hotel. Initially the client is looking for two people (Couples welcome) to start immediately, and work through until Mid to end of October.
You'll be expected to work around 50-55 hours per week on average, and possibly more in the peak period.
Other than working, there isn't a huge amount else to do in your downtime, so if you like to relax, take in some sun and chill in your downtime, this may be the role for you!

* Overseeing the day to day running of the Hotel * Delivery of SLA and KPI's to the hotel team * Promotion, selling and managing functions for up to 250 * The motivation of the hotel team * Ensure full compliance in Hotel operating controls, SOP's, policies, procedures and service standards. * Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures * Hold regular briefings and meetings with all head of departments * Assist in delivering hotel budget goals and helping set other short and long term strategic goals for the property
Role
* Working 6 days a week in peak season * Permanent position * Teamwork and the ability to adapt is critical for this location.
Candidate Background
As the suitable Assistent General Manager, you will need a very strong commercial, corporate background in Hotel Management; To accompany this the following attributes and skill will be demonstrated.
